Tooth,
Thanks for the link to the great SI article.

It looks like Oxy has this one in the bag.

Does anyone have a score on the Redlands/Whittier game? I imagine the Dawgs handled the Poets.

Touchdown Chapman w/ 15 seconds left.  PAT is good. Oxy 41 Chapman 21.  That's final.

Did you guys see the Cal Lu v. Pomona final?  27-24 Cal Lu . . . geez, I'm thinking "letdown."  Either that, or "let all the seniors play."  Article posted on Cal Lu's website:

Alright Oxy . . . get ready for our last regular season match at home against Whittier.

Whittier     28   Final/OT
Redlands   21

Redlands with three costly turnovers including one in overtime. Pretty much the story of their season. I can't believe how far the program has fallen. Sounds like Oxy had an easy time with Chapman. Congrats are in order for their third straight SCIAC crown. Good luck next week against Whittier and then the playoffs.

Here is my take on the Cal Lu game.....BORING!  It was pretty sad to see the Kingsmen come out the way they did.  They had all the wind knocked out of them and a team with a little character would have wanted nothing more than to get back on the field and play again.  The only guy that looked like he gave a damn was Squires.  Props to the head coach for caring.  I give P-P a ton of credit for playing their butts off.  They had about 30 guys dressed and I truly thought they were going to win the game.  They pretty much dominted the statistics but CLU made a big stop on a 4th down at the end of the game.  I really hope the players will show a lot more pride next week during the "rivalry" games, if not, I would have expected Redlands to whoop their behinds.............that is until I read they lost to Whittier :o

Congrats, Oxy and good luck in the playoffs.

Very interesting outcome in the Redlands/Whittier game. Next week against Cal Lu could be tough.
