Redlands  24    Final
Cal Lu       20

Great job today Redlands. Way to finish a tough season by beating a very good Cal Lu team. Use this game to build towards next year.

Wow, just back from soccer . . . good work and congrats to the Dawgs . . . consistency, thy name is not SCIAC . . .  ;)

Well, the big question is (perhaps in my own mind only) whether the upset of St. Johns by Bethel will bring St. John's below Oxy in the region and give the Tigers a shot at home field for round 1.  Tend to doubt it, still figure a trip to Spokane is in the offing . . . we'll find out tomorrow.

Go Oxy . . . no upsetitis in Eagle Rock this evening ok boys?

DOC:  Didn't read your post until I got back from soccer . . . otherwise I would have figured out a witty retort . . . we'll just have to try again   ;) ;D

To succeed, one must be creative and persistent.  John H. Johnson

WAY TO GO DAWGS.......this is waht happens when you dont turn the ball over, score some points  and play great defense.
Congrats to Brian Ziska...a 5 th year senior QBwho got the start and did a great job.  What a great way to end your college career.  Way to go Brian.

We should all say a prayer for the running back, #23 for CLU, they had to put him on a stretcher and took him to the ER.  They had him on the flat board and had his neck  secured  to the baord.  He was able to move his arms and legs, hopefully it was a precautionary measure.

From the land of Sparkletts, Eagle Rock, California, comes the halftime score of ........................................14-10, hometeam.

Hmmm...Poets score again to push their lead over the Tigers to 23-14 (I think....or maybe it's 22 or 24)

Whittier has exactly three chances of beating Oxy this week -- slim, none, and fat. May I quote my good friend and rival Gig Harbor Cat in this instance? "Phone it in."

OxyBob

Well looks like the Poets are taking slim over none and fat.

MonroviaCat

Poets just intercepted Collins and ran it back to the Oxy 25
Go Cats!

MonroviaCat

The problem for Oxybob is that he chose to quote GHC and the "phone it in" which did not serve the Wildcats well this year.

Curious...even though I was josting about SaberTooth, did you think of going to see that game? Or are you like me, hoping a playoff game comes to the southwest.
(until I read/heard this)
I get 30-14!!!!!!!!! Whittier!!!!!!
