BE....Thomas was a QB,DB and WR.....and was a stud from what I hear.  The OL will be fine, actually better than fine, they will be very good.  Thomas will do a great job, no doubt.  I think the league will be very close and whoever wins, it will go down to the last game.

And by the way, I think Ellway wants to attend Redlands in the fall. ;)  He would probably be third or fourth string.   :D

Maybe its me but I am really having a hard time following what you are trying to say.

And who would be the 1st, 2nd and 3rd string? I really think Justin could come in and play right away.

I can understand the how hard it is to get past the admissions staff at occidental. Im a senior in high school and was recently denied to occidental with pretty good grades. i went on the football recruiting weekend and was in contact with the coaches quite often and it never really occurred to me that i would be denied. I also have a question for you guys because the two schools that i have been on contact with except occidental have been redlands and chapman (both of which i have been accepted to). I was wondering if you guys were to give a recomendation what school would it be?( the academics aside) The coaches from both schools have been in constant contact with me.. maybe redlands a little more but if you guys have any insight that would be great.

Tiger Shark..........but I did use the silly smiley faces and you still didnt understand the humor!!!!!

Gray Fox    You really have a thing for the retired dawg guy, you never seem to let up on him even though he has retired or quit the board. Whats up with that? Do you miss him that much? :P  (Please note the silly smiley face, it denotes an attempt at humor)

You get a +k from me.  The "retired" guy was in karma hell from the start. :(

I already have my SCIAC predictions, but it is way too early to get a discussion started because so many posters go away until just before the season.  In the past I have done the SCIAC and five others.  I do them for my personal interest and don't always post.  I plan to add a sixth this year.  I watch the boards for the discussions before posting.  Actually, this hasn't been done too often in the past for the SCIAC, but I think we now have a well represented group and a wide open race.

Thanks for the stuff!  And yep, this season will be a real "dawg" fight.  Which team do you root for anyway?

If I see you at a game, you will know.  Some people do.  I have been posting for years here. I don't think any of the few SCIAC posters when I started are still around, but they were mostly from one school.  I decided I would try to represent the SCIAC rather than one school.  My first posts were mostly on the NWC board because nothing was happening here.

I think he has at least two years left. He played his freshman year and one game of his sophomore year at Oxy. You would probably have to ask Pat, I am not sure on the rule if a kid plays in one game, does that count for a whole year of eligibility? Then he transfered to Colorado State and I think he was on the practice squad for one year. The rumor is he is in trouble with his academics.

Snoop, just like you mentioned before only time will tell if Redlands OL will be bettter than just fine. However, they have to compete against the Massive and more experienced O-line that Oxy has in order to get to the top of the SCIAC. Look for Oxy's o-line and their solid returning offensive and defensive players to be a huge reason why the 4th SCIAC crown is coming to the Rock next fall.

Im sure the O line will be good.  Last time I checked they dont throw or catch passes. ;)  Oxy does have a very good running back returning though.  However,I think UR proved you cant be one dimensional last year!

Biff -- there are far more Redlands fans on the board here than Chapman fans. You'll get a slanted answer. Just FYI.
