The team everyone must not overlook, is Whittier.  ;D
That has been a common theme these past few years.  They have scared many teams.

The entire program is optimistic this season. From the outcomes this past weekend, it looks like the powers are still Oxy and Redlands.

Can't wait for Saturday and Carthage.

If the new SID is such a whiz kid, then why isn't this year's roster posted, why isn't the 2007 media guide available, and why is there still a picture of Andy Collins on the front page? And another thing: The season started, so Oxy can turn off the countdown clock on the schedule/results page, unless we're getting a big head start on counting down to 2008.

As for the roster, that's up to the staff to get her the info.

SIDs have enough to do without fans bitching.

I requested a copy of Oxy's 2007 roster from Lewis & Clark, and they graciously faxed it to me. Now I can stop bitching about not having access to out of the ordinary, arcane information like, oh, the names, positions, heights, weights, and uniform numbers of the players. Should I forward the roster on to Oxy so they can post it on their web site?

I'll be at the Whittier vs. Carthage game this weekend.  Should be a good game.  Considering last years game, I don't think the Poets have enough to beat Carthage.  However, it should give this young Poet team some experience to be competative in SCIAC games.

So are any of the Tiger faithful on this board going to make the 300 mile pilgrimage north? I will be at the game and would enjoy meeting some of you.

Actually yes, some old roommates/football alums and myself are making the trek up there on Friday night after the game.  Looking forward to seeing Oxy play for the first time this year.
Go TIGERS!!!

Tough days for Tiger Football.

The Ricky and Lucy tailgate starts at 5. Look us up. Look for the Green Toyota truck. Should have a big group of #63 groupies. :)

I wish i could make the trip to No. Cal this weekend to see the tigers, but, i have to handle some business on the U.L.V campus from morning to afternoon. However, i will be happy to update you guys on the Leo v.s Whitworth game during my lunch break on saturday. It should be interesting to see what the Leo's will do against this tough NWC team.

I'm pretty sure the game will be anything but interesting after their performance against Puget Sound.  Whitworth is a much better team.

Who knows anything can happen on any give saturday. Whitworth may come down to La Verne overlooking the Leo's and play a sloppy game. I am sure the rats' over looked the dawgs and eventually paid the price this past saturday.

Cawdad, care to provided us more insight on the Oaks. What type of offense do they run?

I think I have to agree with Bob . . .  ??? ??? . . . I don't think that Redlands' victory should be diminished by the "overlooked" canard . . . I'd say it's more likely that it reflects a Bulldog squad improved over last year that beat a Rat squad that is down from the previous season.

Go Tigers, Chop the Oaks!

OB.....+k for you for the observation and compliment.  I also laughed at the beef thing. :D
