first things first, Pomona comes to town Saturday. Whats the skinny on them?

Pomona has beaten Whittier 4 out of the last 5, and the score of the loss in 2004 was 9-8.

The Sagehens beat Lewis & Clark, 36-6, but were outgained by the Pioneers, 340-282. Pomona scored 30 of its 36 points off L&C turnovers. (Interestingly, L&C scored its points on two field goals by the appropriately-named Andrew Foote.)

Roger Caron is back as Pomona's head coach after a two-year hiatus, and he brought his son Jacob with him. In two games so far, Jake Caron is 22-for-35 passing for 224 yards, with 2 TDs and 2 interceptions, and 113 yards rushing.

I am back!  Good board so far this year.

Just a reminder for those of you not going out to CMS this Saturday, that we'll have the game at www.oxybroadcast.com at 7, technology permitting.

The skinny on "that hen team" is that they are an exact anemic replica of the the La Verne team.

Yeah, us La Verne boys make sure we take our vitamins so we're never low on iron  :D.
Hail to the Orange!!!

Congrats to the Poets......I was in Lost Wages this weekend and tried to place a bet on them but for some strange reason there was no betting line on the game. ;)

A little something for OxyBob...for some reason I thought of you when I saw this...don't know why, though  ;)

Just a quick diversion from todays grind to a different kind of (bump) and grind.  Here's another example why the NFL stands for the No Fun League:

how do you do that "shortened really long link" thing?

You saw pictures of beautiful cheerleaders in skimpy outfits and you thought of me? Wow, thanks! You probably thought of me because this post was burned into your memory. Thanks for returning the favor.

welcome back tigersports!!! You and your team sure will make the game fun to hear for those that don't have the opportunity to attend away or even home games.  Make sure to send shout- outs to the faithful of this board. I am sure Gray Fox, Scandi, RFB, Oxybob and the tooth, and even P.C. would get a kick that you mention them in your broadcast.

Now that we are back from a BYE week, i can't wait to see how the tigers respond from taking one saturday off. As expected, i am sure the men in orange & black did a little extra research on the stags over the last week and odd days to get ready for this game. Although, many would say that this game is a sure win for Oxy, i still hope that they don't look past the stags. I do expect the tigers to score a lot and have fun, but any big mental mistakes and blown assignments sure be would something that is not needed during league play.

Info only...The stadium at Chapman is going to be very nice when they are done building it.  Right now, The west side (Home side) of the stadium is under construction and will be until at least next year.  Everyone that goes to a home Chapman game has to sit on the old wooden stands on the east side of the stadium, so there is not alot of room.  As far as tailgating, we will be on the top level of the parking structure otherwise known as Parking lot 7.  This is just west of the campus approximately 2 blocks.

Fear the Poet,

Your poet team beat us last year.  The poets played tough then and it sounds like they have an even better team this year.  My boy had a friend on that team.  They played at the same High School (Los Al).

Good luck to the Poets on Sat.
