It was announced earlier today that University of Redlands junior running back Zack Schafer (Saugus, CA) landed a spot on the 2007 ESPN The Magazine CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team.  The award comes as a result of his exceptional accomplishments both on the field and in the classroom.

I hope Coach Maynard goes into the locker room and helps his players understand what they need to do in order to be successful throughout these last two quarters. These last two quarters will be the hardest test of their season as they need to dominate, stay focus and have the opportunity to send their seniors off with a share of the sciac crown.

I don't think coach Maynard is saying much other than focusing on second half adjustements the dogs need to make to win this game.  Coach Maynard is not a big ra ra guy.....

Just like Relandsfan pointed out. Coach Maynard is an all business coach. Not a huge ra ra guy at halftime. He is cool, calm and collected. He gets with his coaching staff and they get the adjustments together and then make sure the players are ready to roll for the second half.
