Nearly 1300 yards total offense last night (695 from Whittier, 588 from Occidental).  What a hoot.  Oxy was 3-3 on onside kicks.

If 8-2 Millsaps somehow gets a bid today (odds are against it but with the new rules who knows what the AA is going to do) then Millsaps coach Mike DuBose owes BJ Hammer and his staff big time.

Looks like a rematch of 02! Redlands Vs. St. Johns....the game still bothers me everyday.....I thought a home game would have been nice, but you gotta love going to a national power for the chance of knocking them off!

Wow, not a lot of people thought the 'Dogs would be going to MN again.  Whitworth got screwed in my opinion but the selection guys must have had their reasons.  Good luck to Redlands and remember to wear your long johns!

Congrats to Redlands. You guys had to battle all year and ended up getting it done. You also beat the NWC champ by double digits. Great year in the SCIAC with a number of teams in the mix the last couple weeks and a lot of things coming down to an end of the year 67-61 game. Crazy stuff. Thought the Bulldogs would be getting a home game rematch against Whitworth, but I guess that's not the case. I know you guys played SJU and Linfield close the last couple of times you were in the dance. Good luck.

I have never seen the members of the NWC board so upset!  I too believe Whitworth got the shaft...but there is a lot of crying going on over there!!!

Make sure you secure a ticket to the game itself.  They are controlled by the NCAA and not the schools.  I hear that it is a great atmosphere at  St. John's and regular season games are sold out.
