Its all in good fun.  As a fan I would like nothing more than to see Linfield play Redlands each year.  Lets see what happens!

I dont know much about why Redland does not play Linfield...I played them in 02, and they were legit...like I have said a thousand times...I also played St. Johns that year, and have no idea how Linfield lost to them. 

Because we had Kent Crowley in the backfield and a relentless pass rush that threw Matthews off his game.  To put it bluntly, Linfield was good, we were better.

DustySJU fires me up!  I respect St. Johns, but I hope Redlands comes out swinging!!!!  I am looking for the Johnnies to get punched right in the mouth!!!  I expect the boys from Redlands to represent the SCIAC and the community of Redlands well this Saturday....turn it into a street fight!!!!  The more physcial team will win this game!!!

That team will be Redlands!  Its Tuesday night...by tradition the boys are practicing right now....what is St. Johns doing at the very moment to prepare for the game?

Only 5 days to go!!!!!  Can't wait to meet some of the St. Johns fans! 

There's no punching in football!  Execution is more important that being physical.

Yea Crowley was a great back...not flashy but ran hard...he bailed the Johnnies out a few times with "shuffle" passes when we played them....it would be 3rd and long...we would rush the passer, and he would slip by and pick up big chunks of yards....he was a good player!

He started the season okay, but really came through later in the season.  He gained a lot of yards on that shovel pass!

According to the Massey Ratings, the MIAC was ranked 3rd, and the NWC was ranked 13th. (The SCIAC was ranked 21st.)

I know that the past is the past, etc., etc., etc., but here's how St. John's has fared in the first round of the NCAA playoffs since the field expanded to 16 teams in the early 1980s:
