Yesterday it was soccer talk, today it's another installment of Where Not to Vacation in California.  If this is what you talk about during football season, how depressing does it get here in the offseason?

I guess we'll find out in about 48 hours.

No more depressing then living in Minnesota.
Come on now - the only 'off' season in Minnesota is the 2 weeks between deer hunting and ice fishing. ;D

OB...Ice fishing is an exciting sport.

Oh, great, standing around doing nothing. We're back to soccer again.

OxyBob

Standing around doing nothing and freezing their b*lls off. I'll take the beach and a nice set of double life preservers anyday.

You guys are killing me right now!

You know Pam Anderson is never gonna drown with those things she has.  Saw her in The 'Bu before.  Good lord is all I can say.

My prediction

Redlands-14

You apparently have never heard of snow snakes and the repellant you have to take to ward them off.  :o

You folks have to remember that those things were invented by a plastic surgeon that visited Minnesota and saw those tall blond Swedish girls au natural.  8)

TC...what will you be talking about then? We'll be talking about a home playoff game.

GO BULLDOGS!

You do understand what would have to happen for Redlands to host a second round game, don't you?  There's a better chance of the Bulldogs hosting the regional final.

Geezus you guys don't get out much:

1.  The 210 goes all the way through to the 215 and 30 now . . . not that Google or Yahoo have been updated, but if you drive it, you will find it . . . .

2.  Soccer beats Ice Fishing . . . but it's easier to keep the beer cold on a frozen lake than a 90 degree pitch . . .

3.  Redlands by 3 . . .

4.  One if by land, two if by sea . . .

5.  In & Out beats the snot out of White Castle any day of the week.

Rent? LA? You have got to be kidding me. SF is outrageous. Or it may just be the fact that I live SOMA/Financial District.

As for Dirt People? Never heard that one in reference to the 909. But the IE does have some interesting aspects to it.... but I liked all of my teammates from the IE.

The casinos down there were depressing... just people throwing away money at the slots like it was no tomorrow. Did clean up at the poker tables now and again. Maybe staying sober was the key. But it is either Vegas or poker in the back room from now on.

I don't miss the 405. Nothing like a 10 minute walk to work in the morning along the Bay.

I hear you on that, all Cali rent is through the roof. And I used to work on California/Battery Street, got off the train right on embarcadero.

Dirt People, must have been an inside joke... But I now consider some of those dirt people as some of my best friends...

My prediction

Redlands 17
St Johns  13

Go SCIAC.

Speaking of great places to live you cant beat Prunedale(Prunetucky to the locals),lovely central California.

Prunetucky! Haven't heard that in a while... but I would much rather drive 25 minutes south and live in Monterey  ;).  Having spent much time in both I would have to say Prunetucky fits Prunedale much better than Fontucky fits Fontana.
Hail to the Orange!!!

Fun Fact of the Day (sorry if this has already been posted but I didn't see it):  Both St. John's and Redlands average 38.1 pts. per game and give up 14.6 pts. per game this season......strange but true.  Those numbers will have to change this week (afterall---somebody has to lose AND you can't score .1 or .6 pts in a game!).  Should be a good one.

Math Challenge:  since St. Johns has one more game than Redlands----is it possible for them to have the same average pts per game and pts given up per game as each other after this week?  If so, what will the score have to be?
Go Cats!
