Wait!  The new guy (Rocky?)  wanted banter with Redlands.  He didn't say anything about Poetry. ???

Welcome, BHOT.

This isn't my home board, as I'm an NWC guy, but it's been lots more fun to visit here this year.

Bored while waiting for a conference call to start -

Mount Union or UW Whitewater vs. Notre Dame?

I'm picking either of the two DIII's.

Congratulations to Oxy punter Alex Groh and CLU  placekicker Connor Pearce for selection to the 2007 AFCA Division III Coaches' All-America Team.

The only NWC player was O Lineman  Brandon Bennett of Willamette who was selected for his second year.

I notice that the last specialist was AP Tyler Sherden.  I assume that AP means "All Purpose".  An "'All Purpose Specialist"  sounds like an oxymoron.  So I think we should claim him, too. ::)

Im going with ND on this one.  Even tho I would love to see MUC or UWW pull the upset I do not know if it is possible.  But this year ND was horrible, and me being a Big 10 guy, loves seeing this.
Note word on the street had Pitt joining the Big Ten and dividing into two halfs with a conf title game coming in the near future.  Has not happened but hope it does.

yeah, although I was excited for the jawing with the Redlands crew, I was not looking forward to facing the Whittier faithful.  We did not deserve to win that game.  I'll enjoy watching us take them back next year though....  I'm sure the poets will miss #11 more than the TIGERS will miss me!

Klop....I was in the 'burgh over the Thanksgiving holiday and talked with Matt Cavenaugh, highly unlikely and almost totally rumor accoding to him.  "Alot" of people supposedly think it is going to happen.  Pitt would struggle.

Bob-
Please tell me you had to Google Matt Cavenaugh to find that one!

BHOT-
Welcome to the board and props to you for joining in the offseason, and not immediately after a big  win by the Tigers.  We're glad to have you.

ECS-
Right now I'd still go with the Domers, but give Charlie a couple more years and Mount will be looking better and better :D

There's only one way to find out if a man is honest...ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook.
