That was great Snoop, +K to all.  I am adding that to the setlist of Tad Beefy and the EDB (erectile dysfunction band).

Sorry Snoop... that's at least 35 years away. The last two may have flown by, but still a long long ways to go, thankfully.

Any news on the AAFL and their first season being posponed? I think this is a fantastic idea, I just really wonder if it will ever get off of the ground. Arenaball might be exciting and all, but it just, for some reason (probably because it is played on a hockey rink) lacks the thrill of regular football. I definitely think the AAFL is a much better idea than NFL Europe. Too bad no one has stepped up with some financing.
Hell, securitize it, issue junk bonds. I'll buy in even if it's at a BB- or lower rating.
Yeah yeah, I know that isn't a posibility. Just saying. It's too bad this thing isn't off the ground this year (at least to my knowledge).

Gezze, that's unfortunate. Hopefully, another Indoor team will have an open spot on their squad for him. Best of luck. Wow, Even the frickin Indoor league seems to be highly competitive.

Ok Redlands fans any info on the school or surroundings would be nice.  I will have to come to this board for the next couple of years as I am hoping it is a good two years for the Dogs.  Son is coming to be a GA out there and any info is nice.

Mike Maynard is a good man and a good coach.  The SCIAC is competitive.

He'll need to pack more shorts and get some good sunglasses.

I believe the nearest In-n-Out is off the 10 Freeway at the Tippecanoe Exit about a block North of the freeway.  This is about 6 miles West of the campus.

There is a little bit more around than in Pella...He'll need a car.

LA is 65 miles West.  Palm Springs is about 40 miles East.  It's about an hour to Big Bear in the Mountains.  Newport Beach is about 55 miles Southwest.  North County San Diego is about 70 miles South...downtown San Diego another 35 miles.  The desert...its pretty much everywhere.

Disneyland is in Anaheim (Also Angel Stadium) about an hour away, as is Knotts Berry Farm; Magic Mountain is 2 hours away.  Universal Studios and Hollywood (Sunset Blvd., Hollywood Walk of Fame) are in the greater LA Area.  Santa Monica and Venice are on the far side of LA...just take the 10 West until it ends.  Staples Center (Lakers, Clippers, Kings) are in downtown LA.  Dodgers and LA Zoo are a bit North of downtown.

Now you know why there is no NFL Football in LA and SoCal fans are described as blase'...

There is plenty to do if your local pro team sucks...plenty of better things to do if the team is lousy.

No need to go all the way to Tijuana, which is a two hour drive. Mexico is only 20 minutes away in Fontana.

Get him some flip flops too...wooden clogs won't work on SoCal.  The wood'll dry out and he could get some nasty splinters.
