The Dubuque AD said on the UD broadcast that Redlands would not return the game nor exchange game film. So did the UD head coach. Listen for yourself. And then Redlands is baffled and mystified why no one in the conference (or outside the conference) can stand them.

Thing is, Redlands is the superior team, they didn't need to resort to refusing to share game film and only scheduling home games. 

Yo Doolittle...you guys should feel fortunate...Redlands won't play us anywhere unless they're forced to.

Here's to the the Rats getting their heads handed to them this weekend!  Tough call for me since I hate Redlands almost as much but it's tough to call our short series a rivalry...the games need to be close for that.

Let me revise this after hearing of the game dodging, tape hording ways of the Bulldogs, I think they've pulled back ahead of the Rats for my personal least favorite team.  So I stand corrected...Here's to Redlands getting their heads handed to them this weekend!

Not at all. I didn't listen to the podcast. I don't care what was said I still don't feel we have all the information. Dubuque didn't have to fly to Redlands if they were not happy about a one game series. I have a feeling that if they didn't get mopped up that we wouldn't hear them crying about it.

But, look, without the one game contract they start to have a schedule like you know who and would have to try to pick up Azuza Pacific or such. A one gamer is unusual in the grand scheme but one has to hustle way out west. But when your neighbors shun you it just wants to make one whine.

I dont know about the one game series or the failure to exchange film issues, however, I can say without a doubt that Coach Maynard is a very good man.  I am sure there are many issues that posters dont konw about what goes into making a schedule.

So if you are unhappy about a one year deal, why take it?  I am sure that other SCIAC  teams would have played them home and away.  Isn't Oxy looking to toughen their non-conference schedule?

Relax man. I'm not just a fan, I played for Coach Maynard and Redlands for four years. You would defend your alma mater against cheapshots as well. Redlands outside of this  tape exchange/schedule has been portrayed on this and the NWC board as classless. I hope Redlands runs over everyone because of it.

OB Where did you get that quote on Maynard ?  I would be happy to head over th Costco and purchase a nav device and mail it to him so he oculd find his frickin way to the Catdome.

Anyway--  best of luck to your boys today--bring home a W-  As for the Cat fans we have to cool our jets this week, but we will  be ready to roll at the Catdome next week.
