Good article today in the local paper about Redlands' win over East Texas Baptist, which only managed 75 yards total offense against the Bulldogs. Several canned, banal quotes from head coach Mike Maynard, QB Dan Selway, and DB Mike Nicolini filled out the story nicely.

Redlands is at Whitworth this Saturday.

Yes, but were there any chalk-blocks?

I call face mask on the d3.com front page Wheaton photo.

Real questions...
does not Claremont share that football stadium with one of the other schools?

Does Pomona have their own stadium?

No and yes.  Though calling either a "stadium" is like calling the Lions a pro football team.

Do any Tiger people want to rally with Wildcats that are migrating south (they promise to leave) and plan on taking in some of the PP/L&C as well as some of the CM/UPS game before a nap and night-cap thriller?
I'm going to the PLU at CLU game at 1:00, then head over to Oxy

D O.C.

The rest of us did not include that game on our agenda but we will rely on you since it is in your path to get to Eagle Rock.

Claremont and Pomona each have their own football field. Claremont plays in Burns Stadium and Pomona plays on Merritt Field. The fields are located only a couple of hundred yards apart from each other on 6th Street, so on Saturday you can watch the CMS-UPS game at noon, then walk across the street and watch the Pomona-L&C game at 1:00 p.m., and still have plenty of time to make it to Oxy for the Linfield game at 7:00 p.m.

Now there's an answer we can get our teeth in to. This is what we have planned.
We would have invited you but figured you might take in the LU game before heading east to cater to our every whim about 5:30 PM.

On Saturday I will be moving my daughter into her new dorm as an incoming freshman at UC Santa Cruz. (No, wiseguys, she's not a cheerleader and isn't childhood friends with the freshman UCSC quarterback. Anyway, the Banana Slugs don't even play football.) But don't you fret, Den, I'll be back in time for Oxy-Linfield with some Milano cookies for you.

Good for you Bob.  You have your priorities set.  Family and football not much else more important this time of year.

WC11 will be unable to attend the days games too...I'm picking someone up at the Long Beach Airport at 2.  I know LA traffic is infamous but I suspect I should be able to make it back to Eagle Rock in time for the 7 pm kick off.

D O.C.

Long Beach airport is the best in SoCal if you could only take the Long Beach Freeway (710) to Pasadena. Real estate interests have trumped commuting interests so far.
I can guide you from the north 710 end by Cal State Los Angeles if you need it.

You're going to OXY anyway, not the Rose Bowl. You've probably mapped out the Harbor Fwy. (110) by now. Too bad you have to know where the lights to Chavez Ravine are to even know you're near that tourist attraction.

I guess thanks.

You must be very busy.
My apologies.  Didn't realize those yes or no questions sought elaboration.  Thanks to Oxy Bob for realizing that an explanation was called for.

Doc I will be at both Claremont and Pomona and will  have  two in tow from up North.  I think Pat is still planning to hit the two in Claremont prior to the show. Will see you around noon UPS side ?

Evidently you guys will be chaperoned by the "Linfield College Relations Office" who will be hosting a BBQ on the Central Quadrangular at 5:30 p.m:
