I see that Oxy's 3rd leading tackler from last year, Josh Beck (LB), is on Pacific's roster this year.  Curious on why he would transfer for his Senior year?

rumor has it that Oxy has found an unused year of eligibility for Andy Collins

The new Oxy quarterback is Luke Collis, a transfer from Nevada. If he does real good then maybe we'll give him an N.

Game time is 7:00 p.m.

I'll be there too for my first Oxy game as a spectator.  Look for the big guy with the Giants cap and say hi. 

Shutout from the defense.  You heard it here first.  Though Menlo might be more formidable this year with their new NAIA athletic scholarships.  Also looking forward to seeing RB Ryan Nastor in an Oxy uni for the first time since 2007.

HEY D.O.C.-----Stoonk here. I be looking for you early AM  on 9-11-10 at Mount Clef Stadium IN THE GREAT CITY OF Thousand Oaks Ca..I always park my vehicle behind visitors seating area.

I went to Oxy/Menlo game tonight at Oxy  to see my friend Menlo head coach Fred Guidici.THE OAKS LOOKED GOOD taking down Oxy 42-25 and Freddy was very happy man.

If you arrive early---- in Thousand Oaks like 10:30 am you also can find parking behind visitor seating area.CLU IS A Dry campus so I can only buy you a bottle of water or soft drink!

Many CLU fans will be at P.J.,S/BEER/liquor BAR RESTAURANT  LIKE 10 AM  in a small shopping center corner of Moorpark/Avenido De Los Arboles Street. You cannot miss the center which has Rite Aid Union 76gas station and Trader Joe,s stores.Fan/students will also be there Friday night ----9-10-2010 and I may be there also----if I,am not sleepy! P.J,s is like a 4 minute drive to CLU campus and the stadium.

Do you know if "my man " BLUENOTE IS COMING TO T.O.? I want to meet  "ol blue". Blue be my horse if he never wins a race----blue be my hoss if he stumbles and falls and never gets out of the gut dog stall ----BLUE BE MY HORSE!

FINAL NOTE: the new  FOOTBALL stadium is set to have ground breaking November 2010 and guaranteed to be finished and ready for HOME  game one IN 2011.

It'll be interesting to see how the Tigers match up with the Loggers next Saturday.  The Menlo line (both O and D) looked humungous to me.  Serious tonnage.  Oxy finding its feet, thought the Tigers were gonna come back and take the lead before that INT.  Liked Collis in his debut performance.  The boys will find their stride.

The game was was much closer than the ending score!  I also thought Oxy was going to dig deep and come back at the end to win.  Just wasn't in the cards for them.  I'm sure the loss will just motivate them to build on everything they did right and to make adjustments on the rest.
