LC vs. CLU reminded of last year's game with Mary-Hardin Baylor---unfortunately  in reverse.

Linfield looked unstoppable for one quarter and six minutes.    We could have been up 35-0.    Then, it slowly but surely, changed.

Cal Lutheran looked awesome; their runner, Mosier, was the difference.   We never did stop him.   And he didn't even start!    Congratulations to CLU.    You could have folded, but you didn't.

CLU, your CLUTube video was very good.   Good view of the game.

Hopefully, we will get another chance in November.    GO CATS! GO!

Right before the game desertcdat1 and I were standing at the fieldhouse door when all the linemen came out of door and you should have heard what they said.

Yeah, but that's pretty much par for the course at just about every stadium.  The Linfield students give teams the business pretty bad too but the difference is that 99.9999% of the students are on the other side of a barrier or ropes and not standing next to a handshake line where players are giving props on a hard fought game and calling the visitor every name in the book.  The kid was just lucky that the Linfield players kept their composure but if that was a different group of players it would have gotten ugly in a hurry.

I have to say it's going to be ugly in the SCIAC this season when the CTU team lines up across from the rest of the league.  I cannot deny the amount of talent they had on the field.

It's also gonna be ugly in two weeks when the Cats travel to LaVerne following yesterdays loss and a bye week....

First of all props to The CLU players and coaching staff on the W.  The Cats were in it all of the way to the late onside kick that we pulled out of the pile .  We play again-- We win it.

K4, thanks for the heads up on CLU being a dry campus. Nice Prank Dude.

We did our usual set up food ole blue and all of the fixings of a great Cats tiilgate on the road.  All of a suddun the CLU DEA was all over us like a bad rash.  This dude in his golf cart with the shiny badge just came over and stood by us and lurked.  Then advised us that drinking is not allowed in any form-- we needed to dump it and he had to watch..  I advised him that anywhere I pour the contents of blue out the grass will not return.

So K4 I will be billing you $58.25 for the contents of blue plus freight and handling from Seattle to LA.

You see for me-- some things are not priceless--Like class !!!

Peace Out

D O.C.

WC11, it was what the (many) lineman and rest of the team was saying as they came out.

However, I'm not going to let one or two D-Bags ruin my impression of the other fine CLU folks I met in TO

I certainly didn't on my trip to McMinnville.

Pat,

Next time there is a big game in Mac and you think about coming out the game...don't bother.  Since we have enough D-bags in Mac we don't have enough room for one more.

Great comeback win CLU! I thought the game was gone at the 28-7 point and stopped watching but I tuned back in for the last quarter and a half and saw a good game. Nice to know for UWW that Linfield may be down a little from last year since they gave us almost all we could handle.

Wow, dude.

I was just telling it like I saw it -- most every crowd has one or two d-bags that aren't representative of the rest of the fan base and as a reminder, Linfield has them too.

Yeah, I mentioned that Linfield students are not immune in a earlier post but in typical PC fashion you roll in with your post.  It was smarmy and unneeded but I'm sure you'll have the last word.  Have a good one PC.

danglin dave

GHC says "Hope they all make grades !!"

Nice!  Like Linfield is some sort of monument to academic excellence?

Pat Coleman

These people weren't students. You know who I'm talking about -- at least, you did when I mentioned them to you when I was there.

And I reiterate that I didn't let it ruin my impression of McMinnville either. Talk about overreacting. The NWC board is practically the poster boy for smarmy and unneeded posts.

Can't we all get along?

PC,  get some sleep.

I got enough sleep to know that smarmy doesn't equal d-baggy. If that were the case, there are about a half-dozen Linfield posters who qualify.
