Wow! I guess we have to officially regulate them back to Cal Who?
Do you mean relegate?

MC,

Yep, I must have flashed back to my Redlands days and a little Warren G & Nate Dogg.

This... is a simple game. You throw the ball. You hit the ball. You catch the ball.  "There are three types of baseball players: those who make things happen, those who watch it happen, and those who wonder what happened."

24 hours.

Because I'm part of the kinder, gentler WILDCAT NATION I extend to the Solutes a one (1) hour grace period on behalf of the Nolutes.

Unreal.

What happened Cal Lu?

Looks like CLU is over-ra-ted!

OxyBob

I believe in your eyes, it would be PLU that was UNDERrated in this case...

Hello?

                                                                                                                                    ???
Are all the Solutes at the beach?

                                                                                                                              Anybody home?

Correct, was at the beach...

PLU sounded like a good team, strong running game. CLU - too many turnovers, not enough Mosier.

Like I said before the game, PLU for some reason always plays us really tough in Washington. The only real questions are... Is PLU that good? Is CLU and Linfield not as good as eveyone thought?

Good job PLU... ;)

Hopefully CLU takes this personal and comes into Redlands raging, to go along with the standard hate towards the whoofs. 2 weeks to prepare, no excuses. Make or break game for the season.

Looking forward to going back to the runner and leaving extremely happy.

Leave us out of it,

Are some teams better this year?

Had you not lost to us, who then lost to PLU, I would have left you out of it.

D3football.com link on the front page under the wonderful Nolutes/Solutes picture from last Saturday has a podcast where the experts opine that if the Solutes win the SCIAC they would still host whatever one loss NWC wins the league in a playoff game.

OK. Where? Moorpark Community College or Oaks Christian High School?

Fear the Poet

did anyone go to Citrus College and see the Poet game? I saw the score obviously, but was curious if we have some improvement at all?

Thanks

Sorry, I was unaware I was on the clock, but I will pay homage to PLU and their strong performance on Saturday by never, ever changing my avatar...  ;)

Hopefully, for the Kingsmen, things will get figured out in the ~2 weeks leading up to Redlands.  As many have already said, it's fun to beat Linfield, and it sucks to lose to PLU, but winning the conference is the only real goal of consequence for all NWC/SCIAC  schools.

D.o.c. - good point... I believe it has to be a venue approved by the NCAA for D3 football competition. Not positive but think it would be played at an accepted SCIAC stadium, with the closest being oxy?? Correct me if I'm wrong, that would be my guess.

Unfortunately CLU has to actually prove that they can earn this starting with a tough one at Redlands in 2 weeks. Until they run the table - they can consider themselves to not be playing anywhere in the first round, much less at "home"...

Time to step up and make it happen. When was the last time a Sciac team hosted a playoff game if ever?? Interesting.

Oxy vs. Willamette, 2005?
I was in the stands with a former Oxy coach, Bob Gleason, who was trying to get me to go to Oxy.
It was the year Oxy went real deep into the playoffs.
It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.

D O.C.

That sounds right. Willamette embarrassed the NWC in the dust at Occidental.
And just what happened when they went so "deep" in the playoffs?

I would like to again thank LaVerne for stepping up and giving LINFIELD a game this season.
Where are the 3 posters who used to come on from the (seriously) green and orange?
