Today's schedule:

Pomona (0-5, 0-2 SCIAC) @ CLU (4-1, 3-0) 1:00 p.m.
Whittier (1-4, 0-2) @ Claremont (4-1, 1-1) 1:00 p.m.
Oxy (4-1, 3-0) @ Redlands (4-1, 2-1) 2:00 p.m.
ULV (0-5, 0-3) @ Chapman (2-3) 7:00 p.m.

Oxy looking for its 7th straight win against Redlands. The Oxy o-line better be ready for the UR all out defensive assault for which the Bulldogs are known.

Oxy free safety Dillon Tucker got some press in the Times Record News (TX):

QuoteHometown Heroes: Tucker's smart play no accident

Dillon Tucker has learned this football season to let the game come to him.

Tucker began his senior season at Occidental College trying to force the action and making uncharecteristic errors in the Tigers' secondary.
...

On Saturday night, the Tigers' senior free safety enjoyed one of his best games in his four years at the NCAA Division III Los Angeles school. Tucker accounted for eight points in the second half to help the Tigers win their 112th meeting against Pomona-Pitzer 39-26. Midway in the third quarter, Tucker returned a blocked extra-point try for two points and ran back an interception 60 yards for a touchdown to ice Occidental's victory with 6:46 remaining in the game.
...

Tucker, who also had seven tackles Saturday night, has been a fixture in the Occidental secondary for the past two seasons. Last year, he ranked ninth on the team in tackles with 42 and picked off three passes. He had 11 tackles as a sophomore and eight as a freshman.
...

Tucker chose Occidental over Trinity, Carnegie-Mellon and other NCAA Division III schools with high academic standards.
...

The Tigers improved to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the SCIAC with Saturday night's win. Occidental has two more conference games remaining - at the University of the Redlands on Saturday and at Cal Lutheran on Nov. 13.
...

...and home to Claremont on Nov. 6.

BULLDOGALUM52

Bulldogs are rolling 19-0, at the beginning of the 2nd quarter. Hopefully they wont take their foot off the gas pedal! Keep it going Dawgs!!!
It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.

BULLDOGALUM52

Complete dominance, Redlands 41- Oxy 7, 7 years of frustrating loses will most likely end here today.
It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.

Sabretooth Tiger

Ouch.  Bulldogs rolled today eh?  Tiger dominance over the Dawgs will return in '11!!

Time to get ready for Chapman.

It takes a real big man to stay silent for 11 months and then come post after the game. Don't bring that in here. Have some guts and post your smack before the game!

Tough loss for Oxy this afternoon... I was hoping for a 50+ year winning streak over Redlands to rival Linfield's streak!  Oxy was decimated by injuries, missing Wertheimer (All-American) and Danielson (All-SCIAC 1st Team) just to name two that I know of.  That being said, you put the ball on the ground 6 times and have 4 total turnovers, you're gonna have a hard time beating anyone, let alone a top tier SCIAC team that focuses basically their whole program on beating you specifically.  Kudos to the Redlands players for stepping up and making plays.  I can just imagine the Redlands guys at a house party right now, drinking Mad Dog 20/20 in a circle, slapping each other on the head and barking at one another  ;D

I suppose now Maynard can finally put Selway out to pasture.  He can take a cushy job as QB coach, and spend his evenings playing canasta at the newly renamed Dan Selway 2010 Victory Over Oxy Redlands Senior Center.

PaddyMac... if my OxyBob Jr. detective skills are correct, your son was (and will remain) 0-4 against Oxy.  So if I were you I would... stfu.  I'm sure the current players did enough smack talking today for everyone.

EDIT: Saying under picture changed.  Respect.
