Hey Oxy Bob, you know that stuff you told SCIAC FAN to shovel?  HOWS IT TASTE?

Yep, that was a beat down deluxe with extra cheese. Ouch. Scoreboard goes to you, paddy.

Yup, that was a beat down.  Not much more you can say.  Anyone have a report on the condition of No. 40?  It was my impression that the trip to  the hospital was just precautionary, but I wanted to confirm that.

Here are some images from the game:  http://gallery.me.com/aybates#100261

Want some HOT SAUCE to go with IT.  hahahahahahahahaha.

And what about the poor showing of OXY fans...U had more players than fans in the stands...

Stay classy paddy . . . way to represent the University of Redlands.

Speaking about staying classy . . . Ted Runner Stadium may be the "Crown Jewel of the SCIAC" but during our 2 1/2 years of traveling around the SCIAC (plus Menlo and Chapman) this is ONLY time/place that the Airstream has been vandalized.  Someone also pulled the 50ft flagpole (and flag) down and then proceeded to march and wave it around the 2 dozen or so Redlands fans still tailgating in the parking lot during the game.  My wife noticed this from the stands (I was on the sidelines oblivious to the situation) and she had to leave the game to confront the culprits (all 120 lbs of her) and get our gear back.  She sought help from Redlands security and adults that were at the tailgate but NONE of them helped her.  Eventually she retrieved it from where it had been dumped along side the road some two hundred yards away.

Yeah, stay classy.

I will say, it was def. great having Redlands get the Oxy monkey off our backs, now we can all cheer for Oxy when they play Cal Lu! haha

I am sorry to hear that someone took your flagpole and did whatever it was, thats not the Redlands I know, but people can be stupid sometimes.

Also, no need to tell anyone to stfu Nihon, I mean, I understand your frustrated, but lets be adults about this.... I will say that I am pleased that we beat Oxy, and by beat I dont mean by a touchdown or two.....Either way its time for Redlands to move forward and worry about next week.

Although I do think Dan earned a spot as a QB coach...he definitely put the time in for it.... ;)

It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out for Cal Lu, Redlands, and Oxy,  the Rose Bowl rule is still in effect? Is it not?
It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.

BULLDOGALUM52 I completely agree with you that there is potential for an individual to do something stupid at any venue.  The fact remains, however, that no one among the couple of dozen out in the parking lot put a stop to it or would assist my wife speaks volumes IMHO . . .

I will root, cheer and hope for the Tigers to upset the Kingsmen while remembering that anything can happen on any given Saturday . . . but would not bet the farm . . . or a chicken from the farm . . . or an egg from a chicken from the farm . . .

First Chapman and Claremont.

Congratulations to UR, BDA52. Your team was obviously ready to go and put the hurt on Oxy.

Great job as usual Oxy Fan. The first pic is superb!

Sorry to hear of the Oxy loss (or beating by Redlands).  I guess the streak had to end sooner or later, but hopefully both the winners and losers can be humble.

On a brighter note for Oxy fans - including me :) - QB Justin Goltz Oxy '09, has signed a contract to finish the CFL season with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, where he also has been offered a spot for the 2011 season.

I haven't posted in a while, but be assured I still read and enjoy most of the posts.

Oxy fan,

#40 has a concussion, I talked with my son this morning (their roommates) he was released from the hospital last night.

So who goes to the playoffs if both Cal Lu and Oxy win out until the last game if Oxy ekes out a win?

Oxy Fan,
The very last picture says it all.

I know, there were a few times I thought the Oxy RB (Nasty) was going to fumble because he met with a Redlands d-lineman at the same time as the QB exchange.

Good to hear ncdawg11, he took a big hit.  I also know that the Oxy player involved in the play (a friend of my son's) will be happy to learn that #40 will be ok.

The Redlands I know weren't exactly civil in loss a few weeks back (I will chalk it up to hurt pride) ... It was all fun talking trash and rooting for our teams until a field goal got blocked and emotions got involved ... its ok though, we will let you think the runner is "your house" for another few years until we take it over again ... :D :D

Well, Missing Mosier only had 125 yards against them.

O.B.  Eyewitness report?

When the focus shifts from "why we lost" to "what we have to do to avoid losing again", I would suggest looking into our RB that no one talks about but is quietly taking over the SCIAC stats book. You are welcome.
