Good to see you back 12, Either that's a long paper route you've got or you walked home from that west zone at Redlands after you got us in hot water.

That was just some good fun DOC.

K4... I will see you next week then. Maybe we can figure out how to really play a game of darts this time.

I know how to play, but I don't know how to lose  :D

Big Loss by Oxy against Claremont!

Caught some of the Cal Lu/Chapman game, Cal Lu looked a bit sluggish, but dominate, Chapman hung in there but the offense could not produce.

I will be at the Whittier-Redlands game if anyone is in the area...

Go Bulldogs!
It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.

Wow... Redlands losing to Whittier? That would be a huge surprise. Looking for a good game between Chapman and CLU this weekend. Chapman seems to have pulled out a big win against Oxy. Is Chapman that good? or did Oxy have a really bad game? It doesn't seem like Oxy has been taking care of the football and that is not typical of their program at all.

K4... Will you be at the game tomorrow? Hopefully I can see stoonk as well.

OK CLUKINGSMEN12<> I walked the entire stadium 2 times Chapman game  looking for you and could not see a dude with long hair like your post patterns photo.  I tried clu 12----maybe we meet next week vs Oxy? Maybe k-4 points u out to  me? Come by CLU entry/exit door looking for me ---HEAR?

This... is a simple game. You throw the ball. You hit the ball. You catch the ball.  "There are three types of baseball players: those who make things happen, those who watch it happen, and those who wonder what happened."

Yesterday at D.W. Patterson Field was one of those beautiful Saturday fall afternoons that is just perfect for some college football.  Unfortunately, the outcome did not live up to the setting.  Here are some images from the game:

Nothing better than college football on a SoCal fall afternoon with outstanding pictures catching the action.

Unless Oxy gets it together in a big way against CLU this will be the Tigers' first losing season since 1999. They just don't have the horses this year to even get over on middling hacks like Menlo, Chapman and Claremont.

Bad recruiting year?  Too strict academic standards?  CLU more attractive for Div I or near Div I athletes?  Can't all be because of the coach's suspension.

CLUkingsmen12

Looks like CLU is going back to the playoffs with help from Oxy losing to Claremont. Now take care of business and make sure you guys don't share it with Redlands.

I'd call it a perfect storm.  The impact of tighter admission standards on recruiting, DW's suspension for almost half the season and several All-American or All-SCIAC players on the sidelines because of injuries or ineligibility.

Just for the heck of it...  22 X  85.00 = 1,870. Replace 'em all.

A shared conference championship, in my mind, is not a conference championship - ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS SHARED WITH REDLANDS.

OXY has handed us some BRUTAL loses the last two times they came to Mt. Clef - hopefully the CLU guys see the importance of this game.

1.) Win = Outright conference championship (2nd in a row)
2.) Win = Revenge on semi-rival OXY for some devistating loses that kept us out of the playoffs in 06' and 08'
3.) Win = Closure to many years of memories on arguably one of the most unique and great playing fields in small college football, with the last game EVER to be played at Mt. Clef stadium on Saturday.
4.) Win = Momentum into the playoffs, solidifying the regional ranking, along with a chance of hosting the first round game.

NO EXCUSES, finish strong!!!

How's my chances of becoming Secretary of the Interior?

If you have any inside scoop on where the AD is looking at stadiums feel free to PM me.
stoonk, how about you?

dahlby

IF they were to host, I would guess it to be at Moorpark College.
But, if money were to be a DECIDING factor, IF they were to play Linfield, it would probably be at Linfield, unless Cal Lu could rent the stadium for a nominal fee, which would make them more competative on the bid. What can Linfield seat vs. Moorpark' Stadium may also be a factor. IMHO
