It concludes:  "Cal Lutheran has won 14 straight SCIAC games including back-to-back undefeated seasons in conference play. A third straight unblemished league record would result in a berth to the NCAA playoffs and a first round game on Saturday, November 19."

From reading the Cal Lu release, it sounds like it's hardly worth playing the conference schedule for them.  Merely a nuisance for them to endure until they get to the real games.

No,I dont think thats what it said at all. The release just stated facts.Lets be real,the last couple of years it has been Redlands and Clu.Every gamed played in the SCIAC matters,because usually one loss puts you out of the playoffs. Oxy is always tough andCMS was very good last year,no week is ever taken lightly I can assure you of this.

How about that first game of the year in importance? Lose that one, win the SCIAC, right back in The Catdome for another threepeat.
Maybe I was getting out front a tad much. Of course LINFIELD has to play all their games too.

When does everybodies "Official" practices start??

CLU goes to camp tomorrow. Redlands started a week ago.

Any ground report from Redlands camp? Did any other camps start early in the SCIAC?

Rumor has it, a solid RB recruit chose last minute to ditch Redlands and head to CLU... best decision he has ever made

I hope thats true. While Chambers is very good he is just not very big, and seemed to have wore down late last year.We do need a big bruising back to run behind a large o-line.
