Gee, no solutes coming on to congratulate Redlands?
Oh, I see, they're focused.
No time to think about an opening season loss and a monster under the bed in the SCIAC.
DOC hope you are feeling well I missed you at the "Runner" last night.  That was one heck of a game big time win for Redlands.  Doc if you had been there you would have thought you were seeing a repeat of sorts from the opener in T.O. last year.  Number 4 preseason on the road against a "others receiving votes" team.  NCC dominates the start and it looked like a long night coming for Redlands.   One dominate player leading the under "Dawgs" back impressively in second half.  There was a big hit over the middle on a Redlands WR by NCC # 17 that looked exactly like the Fisher hit.  It looked clean to me and yes it was flagged with a critical 15 added on.  By the way the flag was thrown by same guy who threw on Fisher(consistant)...same basic crew as last year Referee, Umpire, and Back Judge !    Way to many similarities to Last Year...I think next year I will stay home for the opener ;D.  Glad to see Redlands show the way they did but CNN will be ok as they are a very good and complete looking team and I would predict this will be their last loss regular season unless the have a hangover against Bethel.

Really excellent win for the RFB boys....So what is Coach Good's pedigree (pun intended)?

Some type of feline DNA in him I think...lol.

Dang it RFB...I was hoping Redlands would be a little down this year. HUGE win! And while I did pick against you, I was secretly rooting for the team from the Best (I mean West) Coast...but you better not tell anyone that.

It doesn't look like Whitworth is going to snap that Redlands win streak over them this year (just on week 1/first impressions), but they've got two weeks and a game against PP to clean some things up. I hope they do.

Redlands is not in a position to overlook anyone. While it was a really big win they need to work hard and get ready for a good team on the road.

What's the take on the Cal Lutheran -- Linfield game upcoming on 9/10 -- the first game this season for both teams.  Last year both had high flying offenses that could score points -- even against each other.  The Solutes won the first game 47-42, and the Wildcats the second in post-season 42-26.  Are the Solutes as good or better than they were last year?  What about the Wildcats?  Is Cal Lu a fast-burner that burns out later?  Is Linfield a slow starter that picks up momentum?  Is this game going to be another "epic battle" or a rout? ? ? ? 8-)

Cal Lu will be Linfield's best opponent (regular season) by far.... ;)

cal lu returns all but 1 lineman from last years offense.the one scrimmage i saw ,the offense looks ready to go. the big question mark for me will be the d-line.replacing both d-ends looks like it might be a bit of a challenge.linbackers are the same and the secondary is up graded also. special teams could be a real problem, our punter last year was fantastic.

Not going out of the way of any game plan or anything, but I'm sayin' Mssr. Mosier  receives some good licks throughout his playing time tomorrow.

There you go Redlands. We got some game film for you if you act real nice.

A very good game between two very good teams. I may have to make my way south in a few weeks for the CLU - UR game.
