Now, about Redlands' new Offensive Co-ordinator Jim Good. I concur that some of our play calling this year has been "enigmatic", which is why I suggested Good is not fully clued in yet.

But, "no offense"?  ???  This assertion is hardly tenable if one checks the SCIAC website stats for Conference-only games.

Sorry, you misunderstood what I meant  :)  I didn't mean no "offense" (opposite of defense)....I meant, please don't take offense.  Hope that makes sense!  :)

Goode's style of coaching seems much more high school to me.  Not the Redlands way, that we are used to.  A lot of unused talent on this team.  My  opinion only.  Let's go DAWGS!  Hoping to be in Thousand Oaks in just over a week!

Jim Good has done a great job with the offense this season. Some Dawg supporters here clearly do not remember the days of Bill O'Boyle & Bill Dobson running our offense. The QB read option use of Chad Hurst has been phenomenal.

Dear baby Jesus,

Please send Redlands to play against CLU in the first round of the play offs!
Protect both teams starters from injury this saturday, so both teams are healthy
and at full potential when they meet.  I ask a plague of fumbles and
interceptions rain down on the panthers and tigers.

I ask You to do this lord, all knowing one,
So we can see a great play off football game, with both teams at their full potential
and Selfishly
so that i may not hear any bulldogs whining for at least six months.

Amen.

GO KINGSMEN!

I concur. I look forward to hopefully seeing a rematch in your new poorly designed, sub par facility. Also, please make sure to break out those new wanna be Whitewater/Mt. Union black jerseys.

5-0 in 4 years has a good ring to it, make sure your linebackers have on their lucky pink undershirts and that they nail the pre game performance. Hopefully Redlands skirt doesn't fly into their face again... A whole game like the 2nd half could get ugly! Beat Chapman and then we can really begin discussions.

K4, i think the second half of the CLU redlands game was when the REAL CLU and the real redlands  came to be.CLU had there way with the sciac and redlands had some good games but struggled in others.I dont care who we play at this point, just let the games begin. ;)

CLU - Psycho

Wishing everyone a good game today. Thank you to the seniors! 8-)

+k for your first post.
I've noticed that winning brings out the psychos from any team. ;)

I knew the Chapman game wasn't going to be pretty, but at least now Redlands' playoff bid is in the lap of the gods. Whatever, thanks for a fantastic 8-1 season with some brilliant moments and a gallant effort against Cal-Lu. The Kingsmen are in the midst of humiliating Oxy today.

Never thought I'd see the day that Oxy would be thrashed by 50 on their home Patterson Field, 70-20. Tigers still finished a creditable 3rd (with CMS and LaVerne) in SCIAC at 3-3 and 5-4 for the season, but how the Mighty of last decade have fallen.

Caught final minutes of CMS/PP with Sweening racking up a few bonus yards for, hopefully, the D3 Rushing crown this year.

Congrats to CMS for an amazing season: Heartbreaker losses to UR, Oxy and Chapman along with their heartbreaker win at Whittier. With a little bit of luck, Stags could've finished 7-2 instead of 4-5.

Moving on, if Chris Blees is fully recovered they'll be up the top of SCIAC basketball standings again.

There does not exist such a thing as "fantastic 8-1 season" and rings for winning a conference championship are laughable.
