Not too sure of your logic on that quote but hey, we will see.

I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

Gray Fox

Good!  I get to see a SCIAC team live and in person.  Let me know if any of you are coming to Belton.

Well, who would have imagined the NCAA would send Redlands to the middle of Texas to play #4 ranked UMH-B! :o

Much as I was looking forward to a rematch at Cal-Lu, this is a terrific adventure for the Dawgs, especially our seniors.

As for our prospects, it was not a good omen when I checked the Crusaders website and saw their uniforms look waaayy too much like Cal-Lu's purple garb!  ;)

Seriously, the choice of opponent doesn't matter---it's just an honor to be given one of At Large spots.

Gray Fox,
How great you'll get to see the Maroon and Gray Dawgs!

I'd love to be there, but Australia is a mite too far away.

Out of curiosity, would people from Calif. usually fly to Dallas or San Antonio (I trained at Lachlan AFB and Del Rio AFB during the Vietnam War)?

Doubtless, the Kingsmen will give Lindfield a "battle royal", so to speak. All the best of luck to them enhancing the respect level for SCIAC football, as they certainly have done in recent years.

One might even propound a theory that the NCAA Tournament selectors high esteem level for Cal-Lu was the salient factor in Redlands being given our At-Large bid.  :)

The closest airports to Belton, in order, are Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas.  Belton is north of Austin and south of Dallas.  San Antonio is south of Austin.   The traffic through Austin is bad, but the Austin airport is north of the city.

I'm glad to see both Redlands and CLU are in the playoffs...well deserved. I was hoping they'd sent CLU to UMHB and Redlands to Linfield for a little change up....but I think they figured CLU would knock off UMHB in the 1st round. I guess Redlands will have to do it now.

Kingsman4....do we have to pass the hat to get you back up to McMinnville? You are such a charm(er).

cludad

It appears umhb strong suit is running the ball. This is also redlands strong point on D,this could be an interesting game especially if umhb is not a good throwing team. GO DAWGS.

Yeah that would mess up the Texas sub-bracket plan they've devised.

Gray Fox,

Don't forget there is a toll road on the east side of Austin that misses all the Austin traffic.
