Gray Fox and Roocru,

Thanks for the information how to travel to Belton.

I assume that an online video broadcast of game will be available, although I'll need to get up a few hours early to catch it.

Very suprised but happy to see that the NCAA recognized Redlands season and the growing imrpovement of the SCIAC as a conference.

However, I did not expect to see CLU heading back to Linfield and Redlands to UMHB. Either way, good luck to Cal Lu in Oregon and to my Dawgs it's time to get HYPE!!!

Congratulations Redlands.
Indeed. Two SCIAC teams in the playoffs. Nice!
OxyBob is the only one surprised.

Gray Fox,
Out of curiosity, would people from Calif. usually fly to Dallas or San Antonio (I trained at Lachlan AFB and Del Rio AFB during the Vietnam War)?
The closest airports to Belton, in order, are Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas.  Belton is north of Austin and south of Dallas.  San Antonio is south of Austin.   The traffic through Austin is bad, but the Austin airport is north of the city.

Gray Fox,

Don't forget there is a toll road on the east side of Austin that misses all the Austin traffic.
roocru,
Don't forget that I'm too cheap to use it.  ::)  Actually, I only drive to San Antonio once a year at most, so I forgot about it.

Here is the information on the stadium.  UMHB still plays at the local high school field.  I think they have plans to build their own.

Fortunately I have never had the same nightmare 4 times in 3 years ... Sorry GHC but its over for the cats. This is not the same team you saw in week 1 ...

Its going to be 2 HIGH scoring offenses vs. 2 stingy defenses ... Overall the makings of a classic game.

Don't forget your pinkish-purple frisbees, you will need them!

Kingsman4....do we have to pass the hat to get you back up to McMinnville? You are such a charm(er).

You would have to pass more than a hat to get me back to McMinville ... I would rather pass a kidney stone than spend another gloomy weekend driving a rental car through pastures of goats in the land where time stands still ;) - BUT if I do show I know where to find all the cheap beer at least ... the Linfield faithful in overalls and work gloves standing behind the Cal LU bench seems to have a surplus of Natti-Light on gamedays  ;D

Don't worry about me ... worry about the current #4 (the tall one, with actual athletic ability) that tends to go off at the CatDome. I SMELL A BIG DAY COMING...

Lu Ball is fired up, I don't see them taking another L in McMinville anytime soon.

Good one!

When they herd cows into pens all day long in all weather, they must feel right at home behind the solute bench.

Zing! That was solid. But it is good that they are used to working with cows, with all of the Bull S*** being flung around up in McMinville right now... ;D  ;D  ;)

Sounds like Redlands is in a pretty tough bracket!!!!!!!!!!!  Good Luck Dawgs!

Cmon K4,
  You know how it works
The Oregon rancher takes care of the cows, so the beef can be sold to the fast food restruants so when you stand at the window and ask if you want fries with that, you will have something to sell !!

Congratulations to Redlands. You're very deserving of the playoff bid you "earned", and I wish you all the best in Texas.

Yeehaw...go Bulldogs!

But that's what brings the best out of the really good teams. This is Redland's chance to show the rest of the nation what they (and the West) can do. Go Bulldogs!
