Lu Ball is fired up, I don't see them taking another L in McMinville anytime soon.

Don't celebrate too early, and whatever you do, when in McMinnville, don't slap anyone on the butt.

Don't worry about me ... worry about the current #4 (the tall one, with actual athletic ability) that tends to go off at the CatDome. I SMELL A BIG DAY COMING...

Why would we worry about Drew Fisher? He's been dropping Solute recievers like bad habits for 4 games now.

Kingsman4, my man.....I like your enthusiasm. Hope springs eternal. Why shouldn't you reach into your pocketful of miracles?

Bennie Mac pretty much has his team where he wants it, not McMinnville, but healthy and unchallenged since October 1st. He and his staff have been able to play deep in the roster, work a couple days a week on LINFIELD's "vulnerabilities", and even look at the Hobart / Wesley tendencies.

Quote"What I like about this is we know what we are getting into," McEnroe told them. "We have a chance to make up our only blemish and should embrace that. We can beat anyone in the country, anywhere in any conditions right now. We have an opportunity to run this thing." VC Star

Your confidence comes from the second halves in Thousand Oaks September 10, 2010 and October 1st, 2011 ( in those buck ugly UWW / UMU wannabe outfits).
Hell, I even remember your guy-who-won't-come-back

ripping LINFIELD from behind in the 1977 NAIA playoffs 28-29.

What you really have going for you is being familiar with the grieving process; so optimistic and giddy on a dank, cold Saturday morning and then having to play 'what if' on the dark and slippery highways through the vineyards and pastures back to the Portland airport.

Now that the SCIAC has added Chapman to their ranks, I was wondering if SCIAC football teams will be playing 10 games next season, or will they play one less out of conference game? I hoping it's 10 so they can have the same amount of home and road games and to give them a better chance to get another playoff bid.

The SCIAC was fortunate to have two teams in the playoffs this year, but it hasn't always been this way even though they've been deserving in the past.

It appears umhb strong suit is running the ball. This is also redlands strong point on D,this could be an interesting game especially if umhb is not a good throwing team. GO DAWGS.

UMHB can throw the ball with two WR's at around 6'5. They struggled early, throwing a lot of INT's as they were going out of the pistol, but since going back to the I, their mainstay for the history of the program, they have been much more successful with the pass.

Running is our strongsuit with our RB's being deep and our QB also a dual threat. Should be a great match. Looking at your stats, looks as though Redlands has a dual threat RB as well. Would you agree?

The dawgs qb is a duel threat, their secondary is suspect but run d is good, this might be a closer game than alot of people think.

Cool. Good info. Our pass D has been MUCH better this  year, and our run D is historically dominant. That hasn't changed this year.

K4 Caution!
OxyBob speaks from experience.

And Linfield is always in the "Bracket of Death" or so it seems.

This Cat is not overlooking the Solutes....for that matter I believe the Dawgs can take UMHB....but it will be an upset for sure.

It's gonna be a great weekend.  Way better than D1.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Speaking of D1, looking at a SI in a dentist office recently I looked through the preseason top 25 teams and only one, TCU, had purple in the uni color scheme.

I don't doubt that anyone can be beaten on any day, but what are your reasons for thinking this? From the stats, our D matches up pretty well against your strongsuit, the run, our pass O looks to take advantage of a #235 pass D, and our special teams is solid.

Not arguing, just wanting some info on your team and why you think your team will win.  ;)

He must have been dropping someone on the other side of the field when #4 was in the endzone 4 times in the last 2 games ...

Cmon K4,
  You know how it works
The Oregon rancher takes care of the cows, so the beef can be sold to the fast food restruants so when you stand at the window and ask if you want fries with that, you will have something to sell !!

Bam  !!

I thought the Oregon rancher took care of the cows because they didn't have any good looking women to take care of??? ;D

I don't have any stats for you....just going on gut instincts on this one.  In my opinion I believe that Redlands is under-rated.  They are not going to be the marshmellows you played the last few games.  I think it's going to come down to turnovers and who wants it more.  Just my opinion, nothing more.

So he was in the end zone 4 times in the last two games. If memory serves, CLU lost both of those games. In the 4 recent meetings, 3 Linfield wins. Solutes are 0 for Oregon. The one win for CLU, your #4 didn't score. Just the facts m'am.

We all know Kingsman4 wants Rogers to go off for 150 yards. But LINFIELD respects him just as much.
I look for Laudenslayer to run a lot. He will have the same pressure he had in September and his go to guys will only be open for a split second.
Mosier is going to get hit hard and often. The 'CATS still have him in their mind from when he went for 200 in 2010. Can't let anybody get away with that.
