hey doc ---stoonk here -----11-16-11 --- i do not like flying on airplanes so will not be up for clu / linfield game . doc ,now u have your wildcats take er easy on my kingsmen who all be good boys.i was told linfield charges for the live feed so i  will listen to the game on the internet.tell my man blue i said hello and that if he rents me a limo for round trip ride i,ll come to game! will need chicks,food and beverages in the limo to suit my fancy !

For those who haven't read D3football's Playoff Pundits prognostications, they rate the SCIAC teams as underdogs (and underkings?). 


One pundit allowed that CLU has great potential to avenge their opening game defeat. As for my Dawgs, there's a painfully accurate assessment that we "coulda' been a contender" (see Brando, Marlin) with a home game or two, had it not been for our meltdown at Thousand Oaks.


All the same, back in August how many would have anticipated UR would finish 8-1 and get into the playoffs? Might easily have been a bummer of a season after the loss of Nicolini (SCIAC Dee Player of Year), QB Selway, WR Reuter, DL Ouji, and RB Swedlow. This playoff experience will make Dawgs stronger at the skill posititions next year with Hurst, Irwin, Chrisanty, Woolbert, and Brown all returning.

Not 100% certain about this, but Dan Selway was a graduate student last year and used up all his eligibility.


He's a professional in Finland league this year. His brother, Andrew, is a sophomore back-up QB, having played for same high school as Dan.

the  kicker had one go back over his head. . Welcome to the great northwest..

I miss the sun and warm AZ...

Couldn't get a decent price on a flight to Austin on Friday, so I'm leaving tomorrow morning!  Wasn't going to make the trip......but if there is an upset I just couldn't imagine not being there to experience it!  GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!   I wish everyone safe travels and an injury free weekend.  I'll be following the Cal Lu/Linfield game on the old iphone!  GOOD LUCK to both SCIAC teams!

I'll look for you.  It's just you and I.  Weather will be good.  They have some UMHB fans on the visitor side as I recall.

So far my flight out of San Francisco has been delayed twice. Not a good start to my trip lol!  I know Redlands usually has a big group of parents/family that travel, but most of them our from SoCal and I'm NorCal so I don't know how many will be making the trip!!!  I'm pretty loud so u will hear me!  Go dawgs!!!

I was aware that Redlands has a satellite campus in Santa Ana. I didn't know they'd expanded to Helsinki. "Nimeni on Dan Selway ja pelaan jalkapalloa."
