For any Cal Lu folks heading up:  You might want to take a beeline to the wine country rather than plan to hang around downtown Portland.

Thanks for the heads up.

I am not making the trip up due to, the horror, soccer games.
anyone know where I can find the streaming link for the Linfield V.S. CLU game?
the Linfield athletic website says it will be streamed live, for free, but no link is posted as yet.

Enjoy the Games tomorrow.

Go Kingsmen!!!!! Go Dawgs!!!!

Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Having seen both teams from very up close, I am taking Cal Lu 28-17 in this game... I think they've fixed their defensive issues when it comes to gap control, and I truly believe them to be the more talented team offensively.

Of course the way I pick games, I just gave Cal Lu the kiss of death.

Leo Guy...you find the solutes better on offense, then we have so many coaches saying DEFENSE wins games. Go figure.
Don't tell anybody but the weak you came to Mc Minnville we practiced for Willamette all week.

And you may very well be right.. But talent is talent, imo Cal Lu is simply more talented and deeper.. Of course my sample size is small, and I've been wrong before and will certainly be wrong again.. I am going to hopefully catch this game via internet stream, as this game really intrigues me.

Nothing to do with courage of convictions, it's quite simply the truth. I posted my opinion based on what I see, whether I am wrong or right makes no difference to me, I have no dog in this fight.

If CLU plays as it can and doesnt penalize itself to death they should win this game, our pass def.is playing well,o-line has come together and mosier is running hard.the passing game has been sharp(can #4 be in for another big game?)no score prediction from me just that CLU will win by at least 1 more point :)

CLU - Psycho

Arrived yesterday. Cold and raining. Looking forward to great game tomorrow. Go Kingmen!

As a former DIII player out of Defiance that now lives in Calabasas, I've enjoyed having some DIII football close by.  Got to watch Cal Lu play Claremount this season and they looked to be a very dangerous team.  They showed that they could run and pass with a variety of players to use.  The game was a blowout but could have been much worse.  They looked to have a pretty solid D with an athletic front four with some size.  One thing they had that most DIII schools do not have is a kicker who can kick the crap out of the ball.

That's right Bluenote....stoonk, better get in the Packard and head for Alliance. We'll see you there if the wheels don't fall off....let me rephrase that....if we take care of business.

I drive my 1949 Hudson Hornet or go by Amtrack to Alliance Ohio   when I go to see Mount Union Purple Raiders playoff games.Sold the Packard to my 94 year old uncle in Pittsburgh who uses it to pick up women in bars or at Steelers games  !
Have "Ol Blue" hook up some sideline heaters for my boys of Cal Lutheran today  to keep warm. The CLU Kingsmen not used to cold rainy weather.I,am rooting for Cal Lutheran and Mount union to meet in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl and then I would perhaps get on an airplane !

If, and that's a big if, UMU and CLU meet it will be in the semifinal and not the Stagg Bowl this year.
