Whittier web site shows Todd Stratton as interim head football coach.

And the beat goes on for that joke of a program...

Fear the Poet

ouch on the Whittier comments, but help is on the way...word on the street is that there is a new/old D-Lineman who is returning after a two year layoff :)

wholly crap, looking at the schedules, I was reminded that the last season the kid played was 2008 and three seasons have finished since his last snap on the field..damn, time flies :)

I'm OK with Wilcox coming back. Just make sure Scurlock's out of eligibility.

With what appear to be all the numbers on the board, it looks like CMS has captured its 4th straight SCIAC combined all-sports trophy, outpacing Redlands by a commanding 21 points.*

Go Stags.

*This being CMC, reported numbers may be inflated.

What's the scuttlebut around Oxy about this, Bob?  I must say that I find it quite surprising.  My son (now CMC '15), considered Oxy very, very seriously, and they were quite attentive to him.  During the course of 3 visits over two academic years, every single contact we met--Bill Dobson, Phil Kleckler, Eric Bergstrom, Rocky Ciasulli, and Coach Widolff himself--seemed thoughtful and responsible, not to mention a helluva lot more motivated to run a decent program than somebody like, say, Tony Candaele, the longtime coach at CMC.  Is this yet another case of a pin-dick AD who can't stand the success of a first-class football coach.

That is tough, especially when they needed to rebuild quite a bit.

God I hope not since believe the AD is female.

Well, it is California, after all.

That was a San Francisco downhill staircase for the Widolff family all these last months.
