Welcome back,FOxyBob.
Rooting for Lewis and Clark now?

See you the 15th!

dahlby

Chapman and OXY need to strengthen their pre-conference games if they expect the SCIAC and themselves to get more respect.  I respect CLU and Redlands for their schedules.

Gray Fox

There are many aspects to getting a schedule made.   Sometimes they just like to play near out of area alumni to encourage school spirit and $$ donations.  I don't really think they are dogging it.

K4....talking off the top of my head, :-)  , I say home field advantage has been taken away this week because LINFIELD has that game under their belt. What say you? Go ahead and let the world know how CLU turned the tables the second half last time we ventured south.

next week Dens, next week...we have some Cowboys to deal with first. :)
Go Cats!

cludad

having listened to the game and not seeing how clu will mesh, i will reserve comment on the upcoming game.menlo seemed to do alot of qb runs and not enough throwing. it looked like when the did throw the rec. were open. i do believe clu has alot better rec. and dbs. i can assure you the linfield rec. will not run as open as they did againt menlo. i for one am looking foward to the game in 2 weeks, but first plu, and we know what they did 2 yrs ago to use at their place.

Hey OxyBob,
Two questions:
Did you even attend OXY?
Did you even play football and if so was your position STC? (Statistician)

Guarantee the "Shoes" return to Whittier (the true home of the Shoes)

Yes, I attended Oxy.
No, I did not play football, but as a fan I stood on the sidelines and watched the games, pretty much the same as you did.
No, I was not a statistician.

That was actually three questions you asked, proving yet again that Whittier grads can't count to three, let alone to seven. (tigersports, please verify.)

And speaking of statistics, here's today's quiz: Since 1992, which team has won 16 of the 20 games played between Oxy and Whittier, and 10 of the last 11? (Hint: That's two questions, one answer.)

Not unless you're bringing back Myron Claxton and Josh Scurlock.

Bonus quiz: Which Whittier alumnus was "Mr. Irrelevant" in the 1940 NFL draft? (Hint: Not Josh Scurlock.)
