Poet and Lucy....
Thanks for the hospitality...you guys really know how to tailgate. You are genuinely good people. See you next year at Chapman.

Your son played one heck of a game. He knows how to hit. No fear there.

Whittier's offense is for real.

Exciting game. Both teams had a chance until about 2 miinutres to go.

Great seeing you as well . Thanks for the kinds words on little Ricky, what he lacks in size, he makes up in determination

You just cant win games against good teams with that many penalties. Very frustrating to watch. That Chapman RB killed us.

Also, you know I very much appreciate the nice Chapman shirt you left for me, but I can't promise it will ever see the daylight haha

Thanks again... Great seeing you

Redlands throttled Oxy 49-7. It was 49-0 after 3 quarters. The Tigers scored a shutout-avoiding TD with 3 minutes left.

UR had 630 yds total offense. Chad Hurst was 20-for-35 passing for 352 yds and 3 TDs. Peter Adams caught 10 passes for 221 yds and 2 TDs. Brian Chrisanty had 116 yds rushing on 15 carries and 2 TDs.

For Oxy, Tommy Edwards was 31-for-56 for 268 yds with 3 INTs. The Tigers had 17 yds net rushing. So far this season Oxy has been outscored 132-19.

Oxy is 0-3. Next up for the Tigers is Claremont, also 0-3 after losing at home to La Verne 31-15.

I couldn't help but notice that Lewis & Clark is 4-0. What is it that L&C has that Oxy doesn't?

I also noticed that CLU had no problem with Pomona:

QuoteThe bitter taste left in the mouth of No. 8 Cal Lutheran after the last time they took the field was lessened tonight by a sweet Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) opening 38-10 victory over Pomona-Pitzer at Rolland Stadium.

Man, that is pure poetry. Good win, but apparently with a still-lingering bitter taste. Try some Lavoris.

CLU marched up and down the field almost at will. The game ended with CLU ready to score again but they chose to end the game without punching the ball into the end zone. 28-0 at half time. 35-3 in the third. There were a couple of red zone turnovers by CLU. CLU used 3 qbs. Ramay, Shultis, and Livingston. Shultis accounted for the FG and Livingston had a nice drive that ended in the shadow of the Sagehen Goalposts

Poet/Lucy:

Chapman's RB did not break any long runs on Little Ricky's side of the D-line.....stats don't always show the strength
of a player.

Plus K to you guys.

Wear it when Whittier isn't playing, it's alright.
