I drove last Friday from 1000 Oaks and it took me 2 1/2 hours at 75 MPH, 23 to 118 to 210 to get to Highland casino. Redlands 12 miles from that.

Hey Doc,  even when you drive you fly ?  8-)

it's Dega  time this week..

Morning all,

If you are in the Oxy area on October 6th, come out to the 7:00pm game against CMS to help remember an all time great.  Occidental will retire Andy Collins '07 No. 1 jersey at a ceremony preceding kickoff (~6:45pm).

If you have any interest in donating to a memorial fund being setup in Collins' name, please use the contract info on the above link for either Mike Libby or Zac Sakowski.

Go Tigers!
Go TIGERS!!!

Tough days for Tiger Football.

I did slow down in 8 PM traffic near the 210/605 interchange and again down to 45 mph near the Mudd schools. CalCat and cawdad drove the route after the LINFIELD / C-LU game to watch the nolutes / grey-gray game . They'd have solid opinons.

OK. bulls, what does your secondary carry to stop Rodgers? or to watch that big' ol guy (44?) that comes in when Rodgers is triple teamed. (he never got his chance against LINFIELD?

Took me almost  2.5 hours a few weeks ago from CLU to UR using the 118 - 210 route. Traffic crawled from east Pasadena through San Dimas.

D O.C., do you mean our freshman te, this kid has great hands but will drop the easier catches,it seems like the more difficult the catch the better he is.we played alot of freshman rec. last week due to some injuries and they all played great, would would really love our new fb, he is built like a bowling ball. hopefully we will be back at full strength ,we will need everyone.(playing for the smudge pot) ;D

D O.C.

I believe I mean the freshman, from Florida or such?
He was being lined up in the backfield on the weak side and it  was only a matter of time before he was going to get his call. We put good pressure on and his time ran out.

Are you ready for some football?!?!?!?!?!  ;D. Play hard, no let-up. This is a team that must win to stay alive......

D O.C.

Not with their showing in their second biggest game of the year.

RFB

Gutsy effort by Cal Lu getting through some injuries tonight and getting the win. Rodgers is a hell of a player and played big tonight. Redlands had their chances but needed to be almost perfect to beat an athletic and physical team like CLU. Not sure why Redlands can't get the same type of athletes in the program as admissions/tuition are no different. Good luck to CLU the rest of the way and up at the CatDome.

Campus is pretty nice overall at Redlands.

I think CLU recruits harder than Redlands. When the kid was getting recruited by Calu, they called, wanted him to come up right away for an overnight, worked on showing everything they had to offer to both of us. Three weeks later, after the kid knew what he was going to do, Redlands called up to talk about the kid's future.

Hope the injuries stay mild. . . .  Still have half a season to play
