One game at a time.

If the Kingsmen give 110%, come to play, bring their "A" game, and play within themselves, then they will be able to take it to the next level. Still, CLU must step it up, turn it up a notch, and stay focused, so they can show that they just want it more. So far this season CLU has made a statement and sent a message that they know how to win. Whittier is a must-win game because CLU controls its own destiny, and if the Kingsmen execute, demonstrate great athleticism, make game-saving tackles, and overcome adversity, then they won't beat themselves. After all, the final score is the only statistic that matters.

Stop posting this bulletin board material that just might inspire the opponents.  :P

Note to Cal Lutheran: You have a really good team. There's really no need to get multiple stupid unsportsmanlike conduct penalties for ridiculous showboating like attempting to dunk the ball over the goal post after a score. Pretend like you've scored a touchdown before and hand the ball back to the ref. Act like a champ.

OxyBob

Rogers is a class act. The only reason the refs threw a flag is because anyone with 6'4'' height and an All American rap sheet for triple jump should be able to make the dunk. He just broke every CLU record in the book and will have to deal with Mac today in practice anyways. He has now handed the ball to refs after TD's 35/36 times in his career. More on the game, Roger's records, and the "dunk":

I did a double take at FTP. Took me back to NWA and Daryl Gates until I rembered our Poet.
(for my WIAC friends, you're going to have to Google NWA)

There's no quit in this year's Linfield team. The road to Salem (VA) goes through McMinnville.

It does for us anyway. I have a feeling Mt. Union feels a little differently

The Road "TO" Salem...I know you haven't made it past the first round, but you might want to read up on how the playoffs are structured  :o
