Disappointing...we build a new $5 million stadium and will probably finish Top 6-7 in the nation and we can't seem to buy a home game.

It's simple as this...beat Linfield and you wouldn't have to worry about this.

The upside is that if you come to Texas, I will sit on your side to support you, and you will get to meet me.
It could be worse.  I could be Oxy Bob.

Yeah, I'm well aware of what our existence has come down to the last few years...beat every SCIAC opponent and lose to Linfield twice a year. It doesn't mean we can't at least get one 1st round home game.

Redlands getting some pub yesterday.  Danny Ragsdale's flop against Linfield (1998) was named the 2nd greatest (or worst) flop in college football history by LostLettermen.com.  Congrats Dawgs!

And he set the Redlands school record for receptions that year, darn flopper. He must have felt bad and wanted to redeem himself by changing positions and winning the Gagliardi Trophy at QB.

QuoteIs there a scenario where we aren't in McMinnville on the 17th?

First, I'd fret more about the quarterback controversy C-LU has.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no controversy. Shultis has to be the guy. Much better at throwing on the run and doesn't make mistakes (Ramay 8 TD/6 INT vs Shultis 16 TD/1 INT).

IF the ncaa didnt send the dawgs to CLU last year, why would they send plu to linfield?

Last year was actually kind of a suprising bracket.  I think they had to fly two teams (one to MHB last year and one to McMinnville).   Redlands was lower ranked than CLU so they shipped them to a #1 and rewarded CLU's higher ranking by sending them to a lesser ranked Linfield team ;)  (or the rewarded MHB with Redlands, actually).  This year, assuming things hold up AND PLU actually gets in, they'd be inclined to send a relatively low ranked team in PLU to a #1 team at Linfield and not have to pay for a plane flight.  They might not do that but that's the rationale for why they could and in the past have......
