OB, he did alright against redlands,I think those are the only games he's played in(could be wrong ::))his stats are impressive regardless of who CLU has had to play against. 20:1 is pretty good.Whittier has a zero chance of beating Redlands, so i guess no winning season again this year. You guys should be used to that by now :'(

Just like how yall Clusers are use to losing to Linfield.  Even if Chapman doesnt pull an upset... your season will still end in McMinville.  Bummer... :'(

cludad

You are not trying to equate losing to one of the best teams in the nation over the last three years ,to not having a winning record in years are you? ???

WCAlum17

No but can yall please beat them... I'm tired of these northwesters and their damn Linfield... even though I have family in McMinnville and they are diehard Cats fans... best of luck against Chapman. Hope you find someone to stop the run or multiple people cuz they can run. Whittier found that out the hard way.

fulbakdad

And Pat.  I've seen them play in person too.  Boy was in the NEPSAC so we did the NESCAC travel too.

WCA, i believe playing and yes losing(except once ;D)to Linfield has made the Kingsmen a much better team.It was a good gauge of where they were and what needed to be adressed. While losing to them can get old, i think the gap has closed,CLU has nothing to hang their heads about...THe chapman game has me worried,i see that they do run the ball well and we cant seem to stop the run for a full game.If we can jump to an early lead and maybe force them to throw more we should be alright.(i dont think their pass o is anywhere as good as the poets)

Fear the Poet

Chapman is a very good team and I think they have to run the ball all day long to have any chance to win. Keep Lu off the field as much as possible. They have a solid Offensive line that gets a good push and helps their quick backs get a running start. As CLU dad said, if they fall behind early and are forced to throw, it will be a long night for the Panthers. Most likely it will be a long night either way :)

Passing Offense

(1) Hardin Simmons 412 yards per game
(14) Whittier 324 ypg
(16) Linfield 319 ypg
(19) Cal Lutheran 308 ypg

Looks pretty even to me.

According to Pat and Keith (yes, I do listen), Chapman has the worst SOS in D-III. CLU will crush Chapman.

CalLuforLife

229 Chapman    6-2    .750    .3396 (229)    .5121    0.397

That, folks, is the worst strength of schedule in Division-III. I'm not convinced they're as good as people think they are.

The SOS will increase after the CLU game - win or lose.

Well, they'll probably jump out to a 35-0 lead and win 52-38 or something. :)

I was at that 1982 game. Worst weather/referee combo I've ever witnessed.
