The NCAA decided to go cheap this year with PLU at Linfield and La College at MHB.
Both repeat games and in league.

Better than the catdome again but we shouldn't be be playing the #14 team in the nation. LA College was my preference. BUT great day to finally earn a home playoff game.

Wow! Congrats Cal Lu fans, playing at home makes a huge difference. I'm sure Redlands will be providing some intel on NC. I might need to make the trek to TO to see this one. Go SCIAC!

Oh yeah, Whittier is still Sh*ttier...

Where Redlands and CLU can come together and agree.

Dahlby, it was really nice meeting you yesterday, thanks for stopping by.Finally ,no purple uniforms in round 1.Maybe round 2 ,if we can get by ncc.Defense is getting healthy ,but still to many missed tackles. That really hurt us in the 1st half sat..Scheme was good but missed tackles kept a lot ofdrives alive. While giving up a boat load of yards ,the d only allowed 21 pts (last td was in garbage time )The o finally got on track in the second half, but cu played really good d(hard to stop Erod though).LOoking foward to seeing a new team next week ,should be fun.ALMOST forgot ,congrats to the CLU seniors on 4 years of sciac championships and going undefeated in league in that time.(NO LINFIELD COMMENTS PLEASE ;D)This dad could not be prouder.

Here's back at you. Really good to meet other posters in person. CLU is for real. You guys kept coming back on us and reallly wore us down. Penalties happen when you get tired, and we got tired. Good luck in the playoffs! You guys deserve to go a few wins in the tourney. And good luck to your son with his future endeavors! Cheers!

Fear the Poet

congrats to Cal Lu for the home game and four years of dominance in the SCIAC.

cludad,

Did Dahlby give you one of those damn Chapman polos? lol
"using the whole fist there, Doc"

cludad

FtP,no polo :'(, but i really enjoyed putting a face to someone.I am concerned about this match up.CLU basically has lost its starting d-line and best lb,they had a wr, and 17 yr old freshman starting at lb against chapman. With ncc ability to run the ball  could make this a rough game. Healing is happening and we will see who's ready sat.Don't know much about them but it should be fun playing a new team.... the ncc faithful are already worried about travel plans for rnd2,hopefully we can ease their concerns a keep them home ;)

Don't go putting words in anyone' s mouth. I said IF we win the expense of flying to Linfield on Thanksgiving would be worse than this week's. Can't wait to get out there as we missed the Redlands game last year. should be a great game and of course I'd love to see an NC victory! Go Cards!:):)::)

Awfully quiet here, considering that the #8 and #14 teams are playing Saturday. CLU must be busy collecting that intel from Redlands.

ILGator:

I don't think you will see any bulletin board material from CLU this week. I think the Kingsmen will let their play on the field Saturday speak for them.

Go Cal Lu!
