Oh, darn, and here I was hoping to see more of Oxy's new football coach posing with bottles of booze, getting new piercings, and partying with the shaka sign on one hand and an adult beverage in the other, because that's the image you want to convey to your players and recruits.

This stuff is cute when you are in your twenties.  However, posting this kind of stuff on Facebook when you are in the position that he is in (including stints as a high school coach) speak poorly on his maturity and judgement.

I know that if I were the parent of a football recruit and I were about to cough up $50,000 a year to send my kid to play for Oxy, what would really impress me is a picture of the HC getting ready to down a liter of beer.

That would be a turn off, however, if he would have been holding a jug of Carlo Rossi wine he probably would have cornered the market on players from Crespi High.

GREAT WINES. Used to give them out in Gift Baskets at Christmas time before retirement. Been to the winery several times. His Dad used to deliver them to my office. Dad owned a restaurant in Seal Beach. Ahhhhhhhhhhh, they don't make chard's like that anymore.
