Doesn't seem like the football violation was really that "major".  If the only punishment is that Widolff can't recruit off campus for a year. Of course it was major enough to get him canned

Redlands 2013 Schedule is up. The phone lines must be working just fine as they open at home against Mary Hardin-Baylor. The Dawgs then go on the road to PLU, Oxy, & Cal Lu. Holy Moly that is an insane stretch of games.

Yes, very different and exciting season.

I went to the Poet link and started laughing when first thing I saw was Wolverine.

...those of us who were a part of the program, who know the very controversial way Widolff was fired, and dealt with the joke of a hire that Redell was have every right to be skeptical practices in the Athletic Department

Be careful when you criticize the Oxy athletics department. I did, and was banned from posting on the "Occidental College Tigers" Facebook page. What a bunch of babies.

Great opportunity for UR and the SCIAC to play the best of the best. Good move scheduling the game for September 7, when the average temperature in Redlands is 95F. Maynard must have told UMHB that Redlands is near the beach.

Won't be as hot, as it is a night game. I think the Texas schools are also used to the heat. I have been there for a couple of D3 games. They roll out the 55 gallon drums full of ice and towels for the day games.

Agree that Redland's scheduling, as well as CLU's, is good for the conference SOS.

I'll be very happy to trade my Dallas home for yours in Ventura any time.

Somehow I doubt the heat is going to bother a team from Texas. ::)
