You're selling CLU way short.  I think they have plenty of talent to compete with Linfield and I think it's going to be another slug fest like the previous two games.  I'll be surprised if one team rolls the other.

You never know how youth will respond to adversity.  They started strong against the Lutes which gave them confidence throughout the game to hang tight.  However, if the Cats put a couple on them at the start of the game you never know how so many young guys are going to react to that.  You hope for a hard fought battle but I'm leaning toward a tough lesson tomorrow for the young guys.  I see Linfield getting up by a couple TDs in the first half and stretching it to maybe 3 in the second half.

I think three things happen to CLU against PLU....and the game changed mid way in the second.

PLU plays a fairly fast game and CLU o line had their hands on their hips in the second quarter....
CLU blitz pick up was horrible, can only get better....guys not getting off doubles to catch blitz, RB, hot reads etc
QB decision were late on big downs. He looked rusty....

Clean that stuff up, and run the ball first...you have a chance.....

We're flying up to Portland in the morning. We're excited about the game but after last week, our expectations are pretty low. If we're actually within striking distance in the 2nd half, I'd accept it. Good luck to the Cats and GO KINGSMEN!!

For some fans, being pessimistic helps alleviate the stress after a close loss, many know that the game may wound up being close, but in the favor of Linfield. So, assuming the worst only makes it easier to vent later.

Also, we never pull for The Who in the regular season. We actually want them to go 0-9 and lose by big margins. It's okay to support the SCIAC representative in the playoffs though. Stick around for a bit and you'll learn..

Your daughter won't be disappointed with the Linfield campus.  For those who recognize greatness, it has a charm of its own and a West Coast Ivy League feel.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Tough for me to take that stance, I have worked with Coach Mac on and off over time. Not a bad guy for a Kingsmen

Yep. Good luck with that one..

A disquieting day for UR at PLU with Dogs scoring our lone "O" TD in the last minute .  :(

Would greatly appreciate anyone who saw the game give their opinions how our 3 QB's compared.

Gee, Chapman appears to be the best team in the SCIAC.

Alas, can't get Oxy radio broadcast to work, but I'm enjoying a good quality live video from CMS with Rhodes leading 10-0 in 1st Q.

Rhodes "O" line outweighs CMS by heaps, so piling up rushing yards to take 17-0 lead at end of 1st Q. CMS QB McCaveney looks quite okay, but all the close calls are going against Stags so far.

Ha. Good read. This game went exactly how I thought it would and how i told anyone that would listen. The official Linfield "preview" of this game was polite but laughable. I've never seen the talent gap so wide in the last 5 years.
