Jake P, thanks for being honest. Coach Mac is a good person just went out on the limb a bit. They will be back, UR gets them at home. It will be fun again. UR's biggest loss is there three seniors upfront on the d line and Taylor Irwin. The DT when in 40 tech will move to NG, #51 is who blew up the goal line stands against the Regals and Leo's and they have two pretty talented DE's as back up, so they will be tough up front the last half of the season. Sprinkle in a couple backers that will be back and db...their defense wont be as good as last year but still tough. Fudge at FS will be the best in the league before it is over, mark it. Most improved player on the team. . The O line returns four and they have some work to do in the off season..., Three QBs back, along with most of the RBs, Brown could play next year if he wants to use his 5th year...A couple talented sophomore WR will need to step up...not worried about that spot...How well UR does will be how well the O line improves.

Redlands always has an uptick in recruiting the following year when they win SCIAC. I would be worried if I was the rest of the SCIAC, I can see another Redlands run in the making.

RFB,

I saw more recruits on the sidelines than in the past, looks like they jumping on things early this year. I have heard they are down in the OC chasing some players in the Sunset League and South Coast based on their jackets. They have picked off a few in those area and look like they will be core players the next couple. UR has three kids from MV, couple JSerra, and HB kid.
If we can get our share out of the OC and IE we will be fine.

rfb...things are looking good for you next year since all those two loss teams got in the playoffs this year. Starting 0-2 next year should not give you cramps.

Welcome back, boys. Looking forward to seeing you again. Safe travels and enjoy your time in Belton.

As far as the "one and done" talk goes, I hate to hear that, no matter who is playing. Anything can happen. We'll see how it goes.

C'mon  MAN.... ;D are you for real? ::)...  how many points do it get ? ;D

I want to be a fan that is cordial and welcoming, and I want to keep it real. The game has to be played. I went to Wesley once and the fans after the game were less than cordial to say the least. I don't want to be like that.

Hell, we went to Wesley once and their whole team was less than cordial.

The silence of on the boards by the CLU fans this down year was deafening. Fair weather fans?

I'm a CLU guy and I am probably too critical of them at times, but I have been here.  For all the talk, there was absolutley no backing it up, especially by Coach Mac.  Talking down on other teams is bad enough, then you get your teeth kicked in by one after claiming to be the best team they will play is just stupid.  I don't think I have been sold on this team since the end of last year (ULV and Chapman games) and don't see that changing.  I am curious to see who they are replacing Linfield with next year.
I forgot about you Jack.

Cordiality in the stands is one thing...Cordiality on the field...that is something else.  ;)

UM.

It rained here today so the boys got some work in the rain today, plus I am sure they were dipping footballs in buckets all week.
UR is a little cooler than LA, so it should only be about 10 to15 degrees cooler then what the boys practiced in this week. A couple of my buddies who are going have checked out your post. So thanks kindly Sir.

We will see how much we have improved. I still put us as 14 underdogs...hope we make a game of it.
