SCIAC can't buy a thrill again. Gets seeded in the south and draws LINFIELD, then UHMB.

Hey Dens you got it wrong--  They draw Linfield and then Linfield draws UHMB !!!   Phone it in

Its in the bank baby !!

Good Luck to the Panthers, pulling for you all.

It will be interesting to see your counter to LF's priority to stop you run game, and watch cut back.

This should be fun to watch again from last year's playoffs.....

Two nice blocks there.

Chapman: Try not to punt.   ;)

Congrats Chapman (Dahlby) on a good season--I think you saw a more accurate version of Linfield's team today-

Thanks Mcat.
You all played a complete game today on both sides of the ball and special teams.
Good luck the rest of the way. I will be pulling for you guys.

Chapman, a worthy opponent.

Thanks to Bob Owens for giving home and home series. Thanks to Bob Owens for attending the P.A.M. ceremony Thursday night and the sentiments of the Chapman team.

Perhaps see you twice next year, both times in McMinnville.

Another playoff drubbing. More like an accurate version of the SCIAC.

SCAIC will be back next year and hopefully more respectable, Chapman had a ton of seniors in starting positions. UR considerably less.
I think UR will be better than last year, not sure about Chapman. Have not heard who UR will play in the first game, tough time getting a game from what I understand. East Coast does not want to come out due to cost or what happen to NCC. Oxy and Pomona's can get all the games they want, but UR has struggled. Heard MHB did not want to renew? They have put it to us, but it was never a blow out, just a slow grind down. I don't understand that one, but maybe their policy to mix it up.

I don't speak for UMHB or their scheduling decisions, but yeah, they do mix it up a lot.  You don't see them play the same OOC opponents year after year after year.  It's usually a home and home and then that's it.  There have been exceptions, though.  I'm pretty sure we have played Kean University for the past 3 seasons.  TLU will probably be an on-again off-again rivalry, despite them residing in the SCAC now.  We played UW-La Crosse from 2010-2011 and 2014-2015.

So it's definitely possible that UMHB and UR will schedule another series before long.  I've enjoyed this series FWIW.

Hearing rumors that UR will be playing Menlo for one of their out of conference opponents. If true that would be a major scheduling disappointment. Nothing to be gained from playing team like Menlo, a struggling independent NAIA, would't help SOS with a win, but would be an ugly team to lose to.

Menlo, wow I thought UR was dead set against playing outside D3. Why Menlo, go play University of San Diego, Humbolt , APU, or play a money game. Menlo ? Maybe they are paying for us to travel, I know they do that sometimes. Last time La Verne played them I heard LV bused, brutal. Given the academic load some kids carry they should fly so they can study on Sunday.
