on the SCIAC board this is a lowlight not highlight.

Do you think your HC got on the kid who caught the ball on UR sidelines and then tried to hand it back to the UR db after taking a pretty good shot. Maynard would have sat the kid for at least a few plays and been in his face. I have seen that be a dead ball foul.

I swear if we do not double team #55, I going into that booth. UR did zero adjusting to him, just assumed we can block him. No TE help, no RB....crossing your fingers and hoping is not a plan this time.

been awhile since I've posted. My youngest son has turned traitor on D3 and has committed to D2 Humboldt State to play football. :)

Ill always have D3 in my blood as well and will always follow.

Go Poets!
Go Jacks!

Good Luck to your son at HSU. Hopefully they can keep the coaches that recruited your son. They have a high turnover of assistants and players who leave the program.

thank you, but as we all know, you never pick a school based on coaches alone. Because like you say, the turnover rate is great. Its a beautiful area and campus and the kid likes it up there. the question we posed to our son more times than he probably wanted was. "without football, do you want to live here" "this isn't a football decision, this is a life decision" :)
It is a beautiful area and school. Good luck to him.

D O.C.

dawgs can always farm out to Chapman's big bucks film school.

Actually, that's Hoff (#55) yelling "Touchdown, Let's Go!"

I just think you're saying "WTF just happened" in your mind.

I hear as of right now both tackles will be sophs blocking #55, given what I saw in your video it cant get any worse...
If you roll the tape at 51 seconds, you can hear our right tackle yelling "look out Kevin" ...at least he warned him

Congrats to former UR qb Mitch Samson now playing left field for the dogs. Samson hit the bottom of the ninth game winning base hit in the 5/6 hole for UR to pull out the comeback victory over the #5 ranked Regals of CLU. Tyler Shreve a back up d linemen started the inning off with a pinch hit single, was replaced for a pinch runner and UR got the him over on a sacrifice. UR managed to take the series over the Regals two out of three games this weekend.

Man boring offseason, even Coach Mac not blogging, hope is has nothing to do with loosing record. Nothing new out of UR, heard spring ball was feisty and competitive.
New strength coach has changed things up a bit, big push on smaller players improving.
Oxy, Whittier, and La Verne some key assistants turned over.

You are correct..sure is boring. Spring ball was good (as good as it could be without hitting).
So boring I watched the first half of out first game with Linfield last season. Didn't have the heart
to watch the second half.

I gave Coach Mac a "Brandman College" t-shirt last season....he still owes me a picture. Talked with him a bit,
seems like a good guy.

Have a good summer. Plus K just for the heck of it.

D,

I watched the QB throw the ball around a bit this spring, he looked ok. Back up QBs are improving. Chapman appears to have the most holes to replace this season, compared to UR or the Regals. Any intel on their recruiting this year?. I know UR hit Nevada hard this year due to the lack of D3 schools there, it will be interesting to see how that went this fall when rosters are published.

I did see Linfield looking for preseason games in 2016, wonder why Chapman and UR did not re-new? I think Chapman it helped Chapman last season playing LF.
