He has always been a straight shooter and never has pretended to be the father of of a cheerleader who knew of a great QB and pitcher  That guy had three separate screen names and multiple names on other boards.

Oxy does, in my humble opinion, have some of the better uniforms in the SCIAC from what i remember.
How would you guys rank uniforms for the SCIAC? I haven't been keeping up with who is wearing what outside of Chapman who is still wearing Russell brand Uni's

By popular demand I have returned. In truth Gray Fox begged and begged me to return, and he was becoming most irksome, so I relented. I don't know why I am here, since Oxy football has apparently reached its nadir. Perhaps I can regale you about the glory days of Andy Collins and Justin Goltz.

I read that the last Oxy coach "retired" (interesting term) and Oxy hired a new coach from Minnesota Morris. Not sure why he'd want the Oxy job with only 57 players, including a mere handful of linemen, but I suppose the weather in Los Angeles is better than in Minnesota. I was reminded of Myra Fleener from Hoosiers: "A man your age comes to a place like this, either he's running away from something or he has nowhere else to go." Anyway, good luck to the new coach.

I read the discussion about SCIAC football stadiums. I won't debate the merits of Oxy's Patterson Field except to say it has by far the best mood lighting in the conference.

Puhleez. Redlands has some sweet uniforms. The q-tip all white Linfield look is played out.

I don't think there is one uniform in the SCIAC that really looks great.  What happened to teams wearing white pants and a dart jersey at home?  Too many all dark unit for my taste.  I might be in the minority but all white on the road is a good look to me.

Redlands Uniforms need an upgrade. You can't deny that RFB.

No, they do not need an upgrade. Redlands has made some subtle changes over the years. They added the white stripe on the helmet which is bordered with two maroon stripes. When I played we just had a maroon stripe on the helmet. They have also went to a darker, charcoal gray which I think looks very sharp. I'm a big fan of the all maroon look at home which is classic Redlands from the 1990's that they went away from for awhile and brought back a few years ago.

I think the Oregonfication of utilizing different looks outside of our school colors is stupid and is where a lot of this uniform upgrade crap is coming from. The majority of kids coming out of HS are as soft as wonder bread, so it does not surprise me that they take uniforms into account as to where they play. Hell, I had a parent call me recently to try and negotiate his sons offer after he graduated from college.

I liked Oxy's all black look. It added to the menacing teams that DW put on the field.
