I did not bother wasting my gas or 13 bucks to watch the UR/Oxy feed, however did have the CLU/LV and PP/CU games up on a couple of my TV's.

CLU, it is hard to believe they cannot find a kicker ? LV was not the better team but kept playing four quarters. I sure hope the CLU d-tackle was not injured as bad as it looked, poor fella. LV ability to stop the ground game in the second half was the difference maker.

PP/CU, fun game to watch, glad I am not player in the film room. So many holes in both team. Do not know where to begin but linemen are lacking on both sides. PP qb does not look as good as I thought he would be.

Bahhh this game will never play, Oxy will not show because the AD cancels it under super double secret probation, the poets will lament over it, downing their sorrows on cheap wine and slam poetry sessions and then both sides will blame the refs because of their privilege. 

But if they do play it should be interesting to watch.

If it happens that Oxy decides to continue play every other game, to give their players the R&R they didn't know they needed, then they remain on a collision course with Whittier on 10/28.  Of course we won't know this is the plan until Oxy AD announces the decision to pull out this Thursday...

            Signature win: Pomona-Pitzer 38, Rhodes 31

The Sagehens took a long trip and came away with a satisfying win. Tough scheduling against the NWC (and an ODAC team — love when teams are willing to play long distance non-con games) led to another losing non-conference record. No clear front-runner, and a couple of teams who will fight to avoid going winless.
