Save it umhb2001. Just tell them where that private jet airstrip is in relationship to the Cruthederal and who's the best caterer in town.

Welcome to Belton, Chapman! We look forward to hosting you. If you need any local suggestions, please let me know. I'd be happy to help.

Several good hotels in the area, but LQ.com is probably best, and it is easy to get to from I35, coming from Austin, Waco, or Dallas, and it is also easy to get to if you fly into Killeen.

Plenty of great places to eat as well. Killeen has a myriad of locations right off of 190 including an In-N-Out burger. But if you'd like to try some great BBQ, Millers and Shoepfs in Belton are the places to go. There are several Mexican food places, but to me, the best is Jalisco's on Central in Belton.

Any other needs, please let me know.
If anybody from Chapman travels to Belton and stops at the In-N-Out burger in Kileen then you have no business traveling, period.
Go Cats!

I did.  Hot garbage.  I can find better brisket in Sherwood, 30 minutes from my house. The Oregon BBQ scene just does it better than Texas.

He'll be the one on the field the 25th with the camera and the big anti-tomato hat. (assume you can bribe security?)

Where did our early Chapman poster go?  I just wanted to say "For those about to die, we salute you."

BBQ better in Oregon? WC11 is smoking a special kind of wacky tobacco.

According to this article, the best bbq in Oregon comes from ... Texas.

QuotePodnah's Pit, Portland

The Q: Salt- and pepper-rubbed brisket smoked on post oak imported from Texas. The Texas native behind Podnah's wins our nod for bringing an old-school mentality to a state whose Q scene mostly involves 55-gallon electric smokers. Sure, there isn't butcher-style service (the clientele just wouldn't get it), and he does use an Old Hickory with a gas assist (which is turned off as soon as the fires are lit), but otherwise it's about as close to the Lone Star State as you're going to find in the Pacific Northwest.

Stick to salmon.

Well I couldn't talk smack about the Cru so I decided to go after the BBQ.   ;D

I did have some brisket last time down in the Belton area and it was incredible.

Numbers are up for the program, good sign and foundation to build off of.

I hope your right. We have seen "numbers" before.
