Yikes....

In the conference, Isabel finished with 826 receiving yards and nine receiving touchdowns, compared to Lacombe's 721 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns. Isabel said the Rams signed the second-best wide receiver in the conference, something that only added to his frustration.

"I would watch it for a little bit and I would watch some of the highlights of the guys who were getting picked and guys were trash compared to me.
That's how I felt. It was kind of discouraging watching the draft because guys were getting picked up with less of a skill set than I have."

Zero chance Lacombe and Isabel make an NFL 53 roster. They were both very good DIII receivers, but it's time to give up the game and move on.

So, an option-offense look at Oxy in 2018?  Makes sense as Army/Navy have used it to level the playing field.

Former Oxy head coach, Doug Semones, is the defensive coordinator at Simi Valley High School.  The retirement is over.

College football head coach to assistant of a very bad HS program. Not a good look there, Doug.

And going from Oaks to Simi is pretty crazy as well.  I am sure there will be some culture shock when you don't have the ability to recruit any kid you want to come play for you.  Those guys have a lot of work to do.

But Benkert  is a really good coach who built Westlake from an also ran to a powerhouse.

Replacing a coach who has gone to Crespi.  Crespi used to have a great QB who had a cup of coffee at Redlands.  He once threw a 70 yard TD pass.  I think his sister's friend was a cheerleader.  - But I digress for some long time posters to this board.

Doug Simones has been in Puerto Rico?  That is interesting.

Calabasas was in the tank forever, it can be turned around with a few transfers. Benkert can coach....they will be .500 next year. What I don't understand is why a guy would work as a walk on DC for 7500 a year...just does not make sense unless he was moving back to the area.
