Redlands is stepping up and playing a tough 1st 3 games and look forward to watching them play. Can anyone tell why on Redlands Athletic website you can't get the on demand to watch last weeks game? Do they post the game somewhere else or is it pulled off once game is over?

UR, it was clear they were the better team over GF and I agree the margin should have been greater. Maynard will clean up the slop. I really like UR db crew. They covered well and move to the ball. I think the defense looked good. UR was able to play a lot of base defense.  On offense, I like what they did with the TE, GF clearly had not covered the ball going the TE this much, because in the past UR did not throw much to him. GF backers clearly had not practice finding him and the FS was late.
QB looked good for a first game and his legs will continue to put pressure on Defenses. Of course the marque game will be LF...so stay tuned.
On a side note, I see some things never change at UR, they left their tackle to take on the All Am defensive end, one on one. The kid gave up just one sack so a good night for a guy who got little help ( a chip, arm, rb) . I had visions of LF games a few years ago leaving 55 one on one.

Watched Chapman on one of my three TV's set up! I really like the QB's performance. He is going to be tough to stop. Chapman surprised me but Pacific looked pretty weak so tough to gage. Pacific could not run the ball is an understatement.

CMS let the game slip thru their hands, I was not impressed and LV, man what a waste....looked sorry.
The only thing I will say contrary to your assessment OD is that the DBs for Redlands let the GF WR get behind them (including on the final drive for GF) which could have caused some big problems had the Fox QB been a little more accurate on his deep balls.  Can't let that happen with the game on the line.

I agree, but my take is in a 3-3-5, your safeties have to tackle and they did. Mariani will be all over them on the last series. They have some younger guys back there.

On demand should be cloud based so not sure, but I know they need to upgrade their internet system, and they have not so the games are not in HD like the other 99%.

The Oxy game was "interesting".  Video is available here, it anyone wants to look at it.  https://www.facebook.com/cetys.sport
Looks like they are back to running the triple.  Hopefully, this means ball control.  It was obvious that even though CETYS had some athletes, they didn't have the technique and experience.
Currently, Oxy has 47 guys on the roster (3 kickers).  They have plenty of linemen and some skill guys getting time both ways.

Hopefully two are punters, safe with just one kick off guy.

That's a good start. Just playing a game, even an exhibition is a win for the program. Still really thin though with 47 players, so hopefully they can avoid the injury bug. An option offense is the right call, and old school offenses can still be very effective. Redlands ran the Wing T my freshman year, and we absolutely pounded teams with it. It was especially great dropping close to 60 on the evil doers from Thousand Oaks that year, but then again Cal Lu will usually find a way to be Cal Who.

Regarding the controversy with Nike and Colin Kaepernick, I saw a Nike hashtag which read #JustDoIt. It's supposed to be the Nike catchphrase "Just Do It," but I thought it said "Just Dolt," as in chowderhead, dimwit or lamebrain, which seemed more accurate.

Only football I've watched so far this year is DIII, and I think I will stick with that. Beautiful sight watching Redlands proudly run out the take the field with "Old Glory" front and center.

Maynard told the kids when it first went down, if you take a knee on me it will be your last game here. Right after the blow up, UR stayed in the locker room for the NA, Maynard wanted to avoid any incident.
