PP knocks off Chapman (all but eliminating them from the playoffs) and this board is silent?

Chapman v CMS isn't nearly as important as it could have been...If the Panthers bounce back and beat the stags then the Sagehens can again play spoiler to close out the regular season.

Not sure about this UR team, so inconsistent on Offense. This week a blow out of the Regals, and the Regals should have beat CMS.
Coach Mac has lost six in a row to UR, got to be a tough pill to swallow. Despite not going to the playoffs this year, beating the Regals is almost as sweet.
I think knowing Coach O at Chapman, he will keep preparing his team every week, despite the play off being out of reach. CU can throw the ball, UR could not, so it will be interesting.

How is CLU not putting out a top 25 type product year after year is beyond me. It just seems like a program with wasted potential.

Being new to watching SCIAC and D3 football, it has been an adjustment from the recent years of watching Oklahoma (as a life-long fan/supporter/alumnus/season ticket holder). Having a son now playing for CMS, their games have reminded me a lot of watching Army when they were in Norman earlier this year - very focused on a time consuming offense. They were able to do so against Redlands in the 4th quarter when it looked like the RU defense was just worn out. I am not sure if the CMS defense can have continued success against Chapman this week or not, but I do think it will be much more difficult against a stronger and more consistent passing attack. I think for CMS to win, they will need to control the clock and keep the Chapman offense on the sideline as much as possible.

This is not my board, but, hey! I live in Orange, so I keep an eye on games and participate.
Welcome to the boards.

No QB play this year, not using TE to Stretch the field, not running ball enough between tackles. Fumbling football on average of 3x a game. DC doesn't mix up the play calls especially when you have a stud NG with speed and strength, No DB play on deep patterns and hoping a Freshman can get faster after allowing 10 deep TDs, Special teams and field position along with missing 70% of all Field goals. Lots of talent, lots of good coaches but just confused, time for Coach Mac to take control of both O & D, 2012 season is over, time for a change at both OC & DC. I will say that the players are motivated for change and looking to help change the culture,  WILL TO WIN is a learned trait. Better recruiting of neighboring states. Yeah It's been a long season which could have easily been 6-2 right now.

KEY to CMS success is the physical play of their OL, props to that OL coach who my son has played against his OL at HSU and they were just as nasty.

Well, we have a weekend coming up that the SCIAC hasn't seen in a long time, if ever.  CMS is undefeated and in the driver's seat with Redlands one spot behind.  CMS has Chapman (for what is essentially a meaningless game for Chapman) this weekend, and PP for their finale.  Redlands has Whittier and Oxy left.

CMS can clinch at least a share of the title by winning either of their last two games (and they get the playoff bid).  If they win both, they get the title outright.  Unless somebody think Redlands will lose to either Whittier, or Oxy (I wouldn't put any money on it), there is no way Chapman can win even a share of the conference title with two  league losses already.  The big money says Redlands will finish with one loss.  The question is how will CMS finish.

I would like to see a SCIAC school make it's way to Belton especially CMS, we've seen Redlands many times it would be fun to see a new face in the Cruthedral

The Cru will win despite who your SCIAC opponent will be, UR would be the tougher draw, from a talent stand point....Either way 28 point favorites.
