As far as Redlands and the playoffs, if Chapman is ranked 4 or 5, would the Northwest Champ have to be ranked accordingly for them to play?  Or does the committee have the right to send schools anywhere within a region?  Redlands should be ranked in the Regional rankings when they come out.  But it is the NCAA which has done some stupid things over the years.

Ironically, Godwin has stated that his Law is over applied and then later reserved to himself the privilege of judging when and when not it is ok to reference Hitler or the Nazi's.  Godwin Godwined himself.

Of course, the distinction is quite simple.  If one is testing an argument in extremis then the usage is entirely appropriate.  If one is instead uses the reference to tar and feather an argument, making it beyond the pale by association, then the use is inappropriate.  Ignoring that distinction allows Godwin to be used as a bludgeon itself, isn't that right?

With Whitworth's loss to Puget Sound, it's apparent that the Northwest Conference is very weak, which kind of takes the gloss off Redlands' win against over-hyped Linfield. Too bad for UR.

not True, being I saw them in person plus some streams, LF figures out how to run the ball they are a top 12 team easily. How much you improve in October is what college football is all about. I would put LF a favorite over Chapman right now, could change.

I think Chapman and UR are just better than the past couple years. UR has one game left with the Regals, then two byes.
I doubt they get in but they should be healthy.
