I can't get enough of the vitriol between the NWC and SCIAC.  :D

Redlands and Chapman: 5-0 against the entitled NWC.

5-0 against the top 3 in the league.  Nothing soft about that record.

Amazing, 2 SCIAC schools in the top 3 of the West Rankings!

7   Linfield   7-1   7-1

Good thing for over-hyped Linfield that they got that AQ.

OxyBob

Thanks OB.....l agree the AQ is always a good thing.

All the build up. . . . "California wine", probably RFB's local NoCal winery.

I remember when the 'entitled' NWC got a bye first round of the playoffs.

I just hope e everyone has fun.

I am looking forward to a potential first round home game for Chapman since I live about 20 minutes away.

I can't tell you guys how proud I am of the Panthers this year. Coach Owens and his staff have done an incredible job getting this program to where it is today.

Less than 10 years ago Chapman wasn't even a member of a conference. Now they are on the cusp of winning their 3rd conference championship in 6 years and hosting their first ever playoff game. I know many of the players at Chapman probably aren't satisfied with where they stand now (which is the right mentality) but as an outside observer having watched this program grow i can say its a beautiful thing to witness.

Just a normal kind of thing Duff....you know little bro notices some fuzz on his chin and wants world and big bro to notice...we're really just one big happy dysfunctional West Coast family. 🌴🌲

I am somewhat bummed the NCAA changed policy in regards to the same conference teams playing each other. I think a re match would have been great from an attendance, hype, local coverage etc stand point. I agree coach Owens and staff has done a fine a fine job and very much a gracious gentlemen.
Chapman is a lot of attributes, but given its admission standards, it is tough formula, find good players that are eligible for aid or find rich kids that are good players, the in between is not too great. However at some point the school size is going to out grow the SCIAC, and with the planned expansion to 10,000 undergrads (city of Orange in process of approving as long as housing component is met) the school will belongs in the WCAC and play football like USD in the Pioneer League.

I disagree.  As long as the Wisconsin schools can have 10k plus student populations, why can't Chapman?

PC & Company posted D3football's projected playoff bracket, which has Linfield at Chapman and Wabash at Redlands.

I'm a bit confused because my understanding is that conference opponents don't face each other in the first round. Why would the third place SCIAC team play the SCIAC conference champ in the first round?
