I will be very surprised if Redlands gets selected tomorrow due to Wisconsin Whitewater losing today. Four points from a perfect regular season, and most likely sitting home.
i think you will be pleasantly surorused

I'm not sure I agree with you.  Redlands started the weekend as #3 in the West, with their only loss being to #2.  I think UWW drops below them (total guess) after losing this week and I feel as if they were exposed a little and not a "typical" UWW team.  I think your Bulldogs are still safe.

My guess is a Linfield Redlands rematch. Not ideal but Chapman will be 1 in the west and get a patsy of a team.

that is a possibility...but I'm not sure there are any patsy teams that fall into the "needs to fly anyway" category.  Besides, Linfield is the Patsy team this year--remember?  3rd place in the SCIAC.   ::)

???I'm surorused you think that

I noticed your got three downvotes in the comments on the news roundup today, and someone even flagged your snarky comment about my typo. Maybe you might consider letting the grammar pedantry go. Even I've done that, and I'm a copy editor by trade.

No way your sitting this one out....but your 1st round may have gotten a lot tougher but Still should be a home game.

I hope so. Just another reason to play great opponents and keep your SOS as high as possible.

Well, Redlands made the field......and they get to go the MHB where they always play tougher.....but man---I really thought it would be different this year....

Way to get in RFB. Is Belton nice this time of year?

10Freeway

Definitely a lot nicer than Wisconsin. No matter what happens, you still have to de ice your car 6 months out of the year. I would really like to thank the NCAA to call their own regional rankings BS. No wonder they outsource the FBS rankings.

from the d3football.com bracket page:

Redlands, which is likely to be one of the top four teams in the West Region when the final regional rankings are released, does not get a home game, and gets shipped out to play the defending national champion, Mary Hardin-Baylor.

"It was not the original proposal," said Catanzaro. "I can tell that we really wanted to have Redlands host a game out there this year. ... We tried, and that was a no-go with the NCAA."
